So I was playing in the tournament at paradise Friday.
I was sitting at a full table in the small blind with 69 offsuit.
eejit and 2 other people limped in, and i called the half bet with my hand, and the bb checked.
The flop was 696.
I'm literaly dancing at this point, because I know I can find a way to double up with this hand.
I check, eejit bets and only I call.
The turn is a 7.
I check, eejit bets, and this time i spring the trap. He calls, and the river is another 7.
I bet, he puts me all in, and I think "I know he wouldn't of played pocket nines like this, but could he have the 7? How could he have a 7?"
I called and sure enough, he turns over 47 suited.

*points and laughs at klink* Everybody here knows that it is a very bad idea to slow play eejit. Hes the luckiest *** ** * ***** out there, so just make him fold ASAP. Isnt that right everyone?

no, but eejit will stay in the hand when he has a gutshot straight flush draw, and he hits 2 pairs on the turn aswell.

And i play 4 7 suited for someone very close to my heart......

The best one was I was bb, 1/3 way through the tourny, late at night, blah blah. I get 74, guy raises twice the blind 2nd from button, everyone folds, except me I call of course. Flop comes, 7 9 2 rainbow, I put him on aj ak or ace something. So I throw my stack in,all in, about 2700. He has morechips than me and before I can say a prayer that he folds, he calls instantly. Knew I wasin trouble, he turns kk, and I turn my embarassing 74. Well the turn brings a 7 of course and to top it off, rivered my 4. I know it isnt a good idea to have and play such poor hands, but when that hand works, and it works a fair amount of the time, it is awesome. So look out if I ma in a pot and you see a 7 or a 4 out there, look out.
