Animosity

well i have noticed that alot of the older members here have alot of animosity to eejit. i dont know why. is it jealousy? is it hate? or is the fact that eejit has some power. i dont know but its getting realy old now. call this thread what u want for all u who say we brown nose all the time. i dont really give flying f. i am not the 1st to say it but i appreciate what he does around here. he picks up when ndn isnt around and always is very social with all of us. just cant put my finger on all the hating that going on. so i am posting this pole to see if u like him or u dont. come on be honest about it. he wont ban u if u say u dont like him. please reply with a brief reason y u do or dont like him.

same thing. i just have been noticing things alot and if it doesnt stop im not sure he is gonna hang around. hes been attacked by new members and old. people have quit or been banned due to some issues. thats all.

I like eejit, and this forum wouldn't be the same without him, but that's not to say that I can't enjoy giving him crap! It's all in fun really. I will say I don't understand some of the serious animosity members feel towards him, I really don't. No offense to eejit but he can't really do anything around here- it's NDN who's the boss and carries the Banhammer. NDN is awesome too I'll go on the record for saying that obviously. I'm just saying it seems like people get mad at the wrong person, which is sad.

There's only been one time since I've been here where I was seriously worried about whether eejit was actually mad at me or anyone else here.

I anjoy having eejit on this site...he gives me new views towards tome of my posts and includes what he thinks this way......he obviosly is a very well rounder poker player and person in general.....even though i sometimes disagree with his ways we are both right b/c poker is all about varience....well haha so if you don't like him i just don't understand y...thanks for all your help so far eejit and please keep up the good work

when the chip games start (?) it is 4am where he lives. WOW!

Joking aside, ive noticed it, but ive never asked for anyone to be banned from it.

Knowledge just went a bit mad, no idea why.
Lilred i still love, so im not sure there. Ill figure it out.

I guess some new ppl dont like me because they dont know exactly what i do here, and having someone else who doesnt appear to be related to the forum telling you things to do, or shouting at you for something, isnt great.

I dont even get it. Before too long youll all be at tier 5 and noone will any issue at all any more.

And for those that still dont get it, i didnt beg to be given this task, i do it because it cant be done alone by NDN, and otherwise the chips system would possibly stop. I dont get any benefits from it. I cant rep myself to get 50 chips a word.

And contrary to what some people think, i cannot give myself chips.

i think in our heart we all have some love for the guy. yes he is a perk most

of the time but you got to look past that and see the guy really does have a

heart sorta. just think if your name is sassy you will get anything you want

from him. why be jealous of someone who has to do more work around here

then me. thats just crazy. yes he gets treated a little more special then

the rest of us but who cares when you got to do the **** he does it doesnt

bother me one bit. no matter where you go in life there will always be

haters. dont hate the player hate the game!!!!! :grin:

I've been hearing the word "favoritism" a lot lately and I am a little sick of it.

I'm especially sick of it when it's in regards to eejit101.

I'll state for the record that eejit101 is as close to an employee as one can get without having an official salary.

I'll admit that eejit101 has a little more flexibility in what he can do around here, but that's for good reason. He can post more "spam" than I would normally tolerate, but that's because he doesn't redeem his chips for cash and I "reward" him in other ways (get your minds out of the gutter perverts).

So yes, eejit101 has a lot of power around here, but that's because I asked (begged really) for him to help me out and he is kind enough to do so. So I am not sure why anyone feels the need to question my decisions in that regard.

I feel like I have been typing this same thing over and over and here it goes again! I've ALWAYS tried to be as fair as possible with everyone and I will always continue to do that. Any changes that I make are made with the intention of making the forum a better place for everyone. That will never change and it's unfortunate that we've had a few members (new & old) disagree with some of the changes. However, I realize that it will be impossible to please everyone and as long as I know that the changes are for the benefit of the forum as a whole then I can accept that a few people may not agree.

With all of that said, I think we've covered every aspect of the changes and I believe I have addressed all concerns. We've all spent a lot of time (too much really) this last week on issues that really aren't issues at all.

So let's accept the changes, trust that they will make this place better than before, and get on with the fun we always have here!

Naaa I doubt it as Eejit does not like seafood, so wiping his face will not be necessary. Unless he eats bbq rips or something. But I LOVE lobster!!!!!!!! and shrimp! I LOVE seafood period!!!! And I am tired of talking about this bbq, let's have one! :)

Man, I'm glad I havent been around much lately. Because eejit is great to poke fun at, but I would never actually be mad at him. Unless he sucks out on me, that would piss me off. Come to think of it, he does that a lot. Maybe I do hate him......

I think that some of the haters probably just dont understand that different

nationalities have different ways of socializing. I think british folks tend to be

a lot more frank and straight forward with what they have to say, and the

way some of the wordings are give the perception that eejit is trying to be a

A$$, when in reality, thats just eejit being eejit. I personally have never meet

the fella, but i think he is a good guy who does a great job aroung here at

NDN, and a heck of a fine poker player. Personally I dont think I have the

right to judge a person just because i dont like what he says, and if I dont

like it, thats fine thats life,but thats just me.

I'm an *** quite a lot of the time,yelling at the boss NDN and others because I have a bad temper and really just don't give a **** if anybody likes what I say . Yet they still put up with my outbursts and rants along with any other needs and wants of all of us idiots(and yes,we are ALL idiots at times to others -- many without even realizing it) and are very prompt and understanding when dealing with all of us.
But they are still human and have bad days as well as occasional temper flare-ups just like anybody else so try to understand if they are kind of an *** to you,that they might have just finished dealing with ME,so cut them a lot of slack!
Plus you should take those feelings of animosity and stuff them up your arse and
GET OVER IT !!

Do you like Eejit? what the hell kinda question is that? LOL, I'm just kidding, of course I like eejit. I liked him from day one, even when he wasn't the most popular. He had me at "poker tip #9999" lol. Eejit can get kinda cranky some days but overall he's a good guy and from the start i knew he only wanted us to be better poker players.
