Hey guys let me know what you think....

ok yesterday on carbon i played really well.

this one guy i took hundreds off him....I played him in a heads up tourney 100 dollar buy in and beat him within the first 9 hands. and i posted some of my wins of how much i won off him (you can get his name and how much the pots were for in the thread great hands!!!!)

So my question is: i saw him playing today because he is easy to find because he has 500 at the table everytime. I didnt sit down but i watched him for 2 hours about 30 min 4 different times. I also saw the same poeple that i played with yesterday as well. Should i cont. to watch them or play one day and take the next one off and watch them

it is at the 1/2 limits during the day for omaha tables...

what you think and feedback would be great!!!!

Dont worry if i saw a NDN memeber i wouldnt play at that table!!!!

are you taking notes on all of these players and other such ness and are u just playing limit u think there colouding a table just for points what are all of the details

my bad....I am taking notes and just watching them.....to make sure nothing is wrong and what not....i have taken a lot of notes as well

ok do they seem like there friends playing together for points or do u think there all individuals ? and are the lag players what kind i would love to hear and read some of your notes

this is omaha

one is very aggersive bets 7 dollars preflop and is consider the alpha male

one is very tight and waits for set and above and value bets it

another one is a short stake player and when double up he leaves

and i have many more but it is kind of hard to explain!!!!

well i under stand kinda so if u hit ur gunna get paid off i see

well i would tell u to keep it going but he is gonna remember u. if he does he might change his stratedy if u sit at table but then again if hes dumping 500 a pop at table then maybe he has money to burn. i say sit n play but be patient about your hands. i think he will call almst anyhthing from your last post. good luck to you.

This is called chasing a fish, as long as i get what you mean.

Basically this is the only time anyone with any sense moves above their bankroll.

Apparently you play $100 HU games, so im assuming you have a biggish roll. (if so, stake me!) lol

If you cant afford to buy into a game for $500, dont. Your obviously winning at a lower level, and moving up is dangerous. Yeah you might beat him, but other players at that kinda level are always better, and theres at least a couple of sharks at that table, dont think just because they are loose preflop or something, means you are the best player.

Obviously you could sit, play tight, and wait to take him on and stack him. But thats also risky. You might get a 2nd best hand and run it into the nuts. You might get some bad beats. You might get beat by the donk.


Basically be sensible. Bankroll manage, i dont mind you moving up for a bit, as long as you can afford the loss and be prepared to come back down if your shot doesnt go well.

yes i do have a bankroll where i can buy in for 500 hundred a couple of times.....i guess your right i am chasing a fish but thats ok.

the other players have been around the same time everyday....its been like this for a week or so. So you think i can watch them for awhile and master thier game and win!!! i dunno we willl see how tom. goes b/c i will sit down tom. and play them.

as far as staking goes..i want to see your A game at the chips tourney and i will think about...what games you play and what limits...

If you can only buy in under 5 or 6 times dont do it. Its not worth it.

What games do i play?? Anything NL Holdem from $11 to $500 ive played. My ROI for $200 buyins is about 1,500%. Beat that:)

Cake - 191 played, Avg ROI 60%, Profit $230 (not sure how, think i lost a big HU game)
FullTilt - 527 played, Avg ROI 6%, Profit $1338, Avg buyin $54, Avg Profit $3
Stars - 55 played, Avg ROI 0%, Profit $1,033, Avg Buyin $98, Avg Profit $19




for MTTs i use OfficialPokerRankings (OPR)

My paradise ROI is about 6,000%, which is nice
MY FT tourney ROI sucks, as i never had a good cash there. (just below 0% i think)
My Stars ROI for both my accounts combined is about 11% ROI, which is decent for profit.

My FT Sharkscope should be +$6,100, but i lost a $2,5k HU when i was on tilt once, and that messed everything up.

(in my defence i did lose it with KK vs AK, to a pro, so i defend i shoulda won)


And my tourney OPR is in the sig.

Search for some sites that will show statistics.

well i think if u stake eejit then it was a good investment. u should give him like 200 and let him play ring games. play like .50/1.00 games or 1/2 games. eejit if i had money i would stake u. but sseeing that i lost my job i am dead broke. lol

thenutz12234 is my carbon name eejit.....i looked at sharkscope but it has me at -1 roi but that is because i used to play when i first start playing and lost

i dont think there will be harm in watching your opponents play and if you decide to play will be upto you but im sure watching them play first to know their game will be very helpful for you. GoodLuck eejit!
