I've become a big fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship over the years. It seems like there are so many fighters coming out these days that it is hard to say who is the best of all time. There are strong arguments for lots of fighters. I was just curious to see who any of you think are the best. I'm listing some here but if you think someone else is worthy just give their name in your post.
chuck the iceman liddel is the best but i am a real big forrest griffin fan too. ufc is the best. i watch all the fight on pay per view. GSP is the best fighter in ufc right now ,well anderson silva is a bit better than him. i think they should fight eachother. that would be a good one.
Tank Abbott was the man back in the day. I was a fan, but then again I was like 12 yrs old. I liked tito/lidell... the stock big name players that everyone else liked. I havent really watched in much the last 2 or 3 years... I watched Lesnar's rookie fight at a friends house. Then watched the fight where he won the belt. That guy is a Freaking Monster. I think he will be on top for a while. I will probably watch a lil bit more now that they have him in there.
I easily could have put Lesnar on the list. I remember when I first saw him in the WWE I thought he was scary, then to find out he was in the UFC made it even scarier since he was really going to be hitting people, lol. He got unlucky in his first fight against Frank Mir but since then has dominated. I just left him off since he is still relatively new. I'd like to see him in another year or so, he should be insanely good by then.
Oh yeah, Tank Abbott was my favorite too. I loved how his discipline used to say "street fighter" lol.
I picked the last guy because you don't have "other" i like Silva, the tall skinny one from brazil, i can't remember what his first name is.
Crap, I totally forgot about Silva. Thanks 24/7. He definitely deserves to be mentioned with the best. I would love to see Silva and GSP go at it. Silva is a technical animal and can stand with the best of them.
Is silva the one thats body is all skinny except his stomach. His stomach looks weird compared to the rest of his body?... and dont forget matt hughs. Hes from around where I live. Everyone around here likes him. He for a long time was considered to be the best fighter pound for pound in the world

how could u put lesnar on there. he has had like 3 fights comeon. hes all about publicity. i know hes a beast but he is no where near a all time great. maybe when he gets 15 fights under his belt then we can talk. lesnar sucks hes just a big goof. no one can match his weight so of course he is gonna win. i say frank mir takes him out. again. look at his record. 3 fights 2 wins 1 loss. he got the championship belt because there is no really good talnet on the heavy wieghts. lesanr sucks. i can believe u said to put him up there lol what a joke.Quote:

" i can't". Then WHOMP! hits him in the ribs again. I think it was the fighter that used to be
in promos. The David and Goliath one where he comes flying across the ring and throws a
huge forward kick into the sumo guy. I may be wrong on that but, not on those black ribs.
ur going way back. i think dan henderson is a good one also. i met him at the airport in san jose and he was so down to earth. got some cool pics with him. he was wearing torn jean shorts and a affliction t shirt with a hole in it. gots money but is humble. i will tell u of a up and comeing fighter in the lightweight division. look out for josh thompson. hes a stud. hes the strike force champ.

Mir was dominated the first fight, Lesnar was just unexpierienced enuff to let him get the leg lock. That wont happen again... Did you see Mir trying to go for the arm bar and Lesnar just ripping out of it. lol. That guy is a F'ing monster. His fists are the size of bowling balls and hes one of the best college wrestlers of all the last 20 yrs. He is ****y but I can see why.

well i didnt vote for tank abbot. as for lesnar he doesnt belong there yet. he need at least 10 more fights in the UFC. well him getting beat by mir showed his vulnerablity. he has a few holes in his game but the problem is exposing them while dealing with his strength. he doesnt belong in the top 10 UFC fighters.
I hear Lesnar's UFC contract is up after this fight and he might be going to a diffrent venue... However I dont know if this is true or what other venue he would be going to
well i dont see him going anywhere. no one can pay him what he is getting paid. besides the uFC is the major leagues of mixed martial arts. he would be making a big mistake like others have done. but the funny thing is they always come back.Quote:

wanderlei is washed up. he was good then got knocked out by rampage. he is even going down in weight to fight rich franklin. anderson silva and lyoto machida are the sh it. i really like machida since he came to ufc. he is very elusive. i like that he brings karate back into the limelight. machida will hold the 205 belt for a long time. he dispatched rashad evans like he planned to. evans was outclassed.
Im not a big fun of ultimate fighting but are nice to see to become more concious and aware "scared" about life. See how hard a punch can be, iven if on the everyday basis larbor work.
He is working like a pig, or like a fighting chicken, or just like me.

My favorites are brock lesnar and royce gracie. Now i have a few other fighters i would never bet against. I love UFC and watch it every chance i get. Can you guys believe that rashad evans lost to loyoto machida? insane, glad i didnt put nothing on that one.
wouldnt choose one on the list. Id say best fighter ever in the history of the ufc has got to be royce gracie. Hes like the godfather of it all, he started it. Most people nowadays would probably say lidell or corture forrest griffin, something like that but there all hype, there hasnt been a really good fighter for a long time. I like Cro Cop too, its not like i know him personnally but he seems like a really good guy. Hes an ambassador to his country (croatia) and he gives a lot back to his countrymen, he's big into charities, he was special forces in coratia i think too, stuff like that. Hes not in it for the ego like half the fighters, and all the fighters on the new ufcs shows... sigh. Im torn between gracie and cro cop.... hmmm
gracie is a pioneed and so is dan severn. that guy has fought over 100 fights and just won a fight at like 58. he won a fight like 2 weeks ago by knockout. when i say ufc fighter i would say somewone that is currently fighting. u guys mention hall of famers. lyoto whooped rashad and i am glad he did. evans needed to be humbled from his ****y attitude. dan henderson is my hero i met him at the san jose airport when i was flying to arizona and he was so down to earth that it was amazing. i offered him a beer but he was in training. definetly he is in my top 5. i cant wait to see him whoop on eejits countryman michael bisping. that guy has a tude problem also. lyoto forever.
chuch by far was the best in his prime. now he doesnt have much of a chin nor the passion he first had when coming to the UFC. chuck sold ppv show hands down better then any other fighter in the ufc. when chuck stepped in the cage people knew it was going to be a war with big punches thrown and someone getting there @$$ knocked out. there has been other greats but i gtd you most people will remember the ice man more then any of the others in 10-15 years i promise you that.
