Introducing The NDN Poker Room!

I am pleased to announce that we have just released the NDN Poker Room!

That's right, you can now use your NDN chips to play poker against other NDN members!

I've been waiting for this for ages to replace the old system, and I can safely say that this blows the old poker room out of the water!

You can locate and enter the poker room by finding the "Poker Room" link in the main navigation bar of the forum (between Quick Links and Logout).

You can also use this link: https://www.nodepositneeded.com/forums/jff.php

I will be adding this to a more noticeable location shortly, but now you know where to find it in the mean time.

The room is pretty self explanatory, but please use this thread to ask any questions or report any bugs that you might encounter.

You will need to transfer your chips into the poker room and then cash them back out when you are done playing. This is a simple step so I don't expect anyone to run into any problems.

Looks amazing NDN!!! You are right this one really is better than the other. Hopefully this team we will be inspired to schedule regular times in the chat room for all of us to play

Just to be clear:

This is a permanent poker table (people can come and go as they please at any time of day).

I will be calling the first week a "test phase" to make sure it's working properly.

There will only be one table for now (so only 10 people can play at once).

After the test phase, and if there is enough demand, I will increase the number of tables and play around with limits and add some tournaments as well.

We can schedule times, but I fully expect this to always be running! Especially now - get in!!!

In the game there is no sound when it's your turn to play, and there is only a sound when half of your time is gone. I don't know if there's a way to change this, but it's very annoying and makes playing difficult, especially if you're doing other things online. Thanks NDN!

I love the new poker room. I'm surprised more forums don't have in-house poker rooms, though the few I've seen before this one were pretty crappy. Back when I first started playing poker I was a member of a forum called Poker Junkie--it may still be around but in a totally different form--and they had their own poker room. They had a points system for their forum too, but their poker room was independent from forum points, so you were just playing donkey playchip poker. The nice thing about this poker forum and poker room is that the two are better connected. Kudos to all involved.

yes... very nice forum NDN is..
But i think I forgot for wile that chips were money,,,
big mistake..
After 5 min I had won 3K chips on the poker room...
Than people said I could not get out and comeback with less than that amount..
I i decided not to leave...
What happend?

why is it always me that has probs ...ok so i went transfer 100 at first said go and when i got to table had no chips but noticed i needed 300 min so i went back and tansfered 900 thinkin it would be and even 1000 when and if the 100 comes through well it never happwened and i left......is there a time thing?
