WPT Amateur Poker League

I just ran across this league, which looks to be pretty cool. (It looks to only have listings for USA, Mexico, Canada, and Australia, sorry everyone else.)

They have regional chapters which hold regular freerolls that get entries into the money tournaments. I can't figure out if it takes more than one level of freeroll to get to the money tourney, but I'll ask when I go tomorrow.

I don't know how big each of the regional leagues are, but the Tulsa, OK league where I am has about 6 freerolls at various venues every week, so I'll have a lot of opportunities.



If anyone has been involved in these before, please let me know what your experience was, and I'll be posting mine some time soon.
