What is happing to this forum

I have been with this forum for like about a year now. And when I first joined this forum it was fun to come here and post in the forum. But now a days it seems that if someone does not like your post you get banned for it. What happen to the days when you can post something in here and you would get a reply that would make you feel good.It seems now a days that if you put something in here some people need to put you down so I guess to make themselfs feel good. And to me that is not why I joined the forum. I joined the forum to make some good friends and to play some poker. But now a days I only come in here when I need too. This is one reason I do not make as many post in here like I use too. Because I do not need to come in here and make a post just to be put down by someone. I come in here to try to make some friends and play some poker but it has not been fun lately. Don't get me wrong I still like the forum but I think things need to change for the better. I will stay with the forum as long as I am welcome to stay here. But if things don't change you will only see me in here when I need to be here.NDN don't get me wrong for posting this but this is the way I feel right now. I think you are a very nice guy and you do have one of the best forums out their. Well with that said hope eveybody has a nice day.:cheers2::grouphug:

The only thing i "criticize" you for is poker hands and game choice.

Me personally, I dont believe I have ever put someone down here in the past, and if I said something that may have been took the wrong way, Im really sorry, but I dont think that I have. I come here to come to have a good time hand out with my buddies, and play some poker,check out casinoes, and just have a good time, maybe learn some things in the process, which I have. Since Ive been here, My poker has greatly improved, my social status has somewhat improved, and I write a lil better. I dont rarely let negative things be percieved as just a negative, I try to look at the positives of it. Like someone might say I suck(lol heard this a few time), and I learn why that was sai, and do better. No biggie.

There does seem to be a lot more drama lately than when I first joined. Not that it was that long ago. I'm hoping it's just a temporary thing. I will say this though, even with the recent changes in temperament around here, this is still a friendlier forum than most of the ones I have seen. And even though I have belonged to a lot of poker forums longer than I have here, this is still the first one I check and the one I check most frequently throughout the day. It's a great place. I hope it stays that way.

What are the main reasons users get banned on this forum?
What would be that "something" moderators wont like and that would make u being banned?

If you are warned not to do something and you keep it up is a good way to get in trouble.if you cheat,, scam,, try to steal passwords or conduct yourself in a manner that puts the forum in jeopardy threatening abusive behavior basically being a douche. all are not good for you!!

FYI - only NDN can ban anyone.

Ill send him info incase he misses it incase he wants to act on it, but the only person who can ban anyone is NDN himself.

And the reasons are the obvious ones.

I think the reason we are seeing more drama here is because we have all become alot closer. I have been here since 2005 and developed some nice online relationships where we all seem to help each other with our problems, good or bad. We have gotten to know each others personalities and emotions. When a person pops up we get a bad feeling about, all of us know about it and it's kinda nice because in a way we are all looking out for the best interest of NDN. I love this site. It entertains me almost everyday and thats what it is really for. Free entertainment with no deposit needed. Good day all!

Despite occasional protests to the contrary, I am certain that people know why they get banned. I really don't think you need to fear the ban hammer much hear. As far as I can see they are more tolerant here than most forums. Behave like you would want others to behave and you'll be fine.

Why is there so much negativity going on??? In the last week things have dramatically changed. I really like this forum. I would not be here checking this site like a thousand times a day if I didn't like it. It seems like there is a lot of personal issues going on with certain NDN members here. Whatever either work through it because its kinda stupid having drama at a freakin poker forum. We have drama in our own lives as is.

This is my only source of drama.

And i can only remember 3 arguaments int he last...2 months.

Ringo's leaving.
Dallas's rail threads.
Sue vs Me for spamming/chips.

The word "Navuta" has today been classified "Dangerous and Illegal".

This is what my post is about why do people feel they need to put other people down.

the way i see it, most of the drama comes from people doing stupid stuff here. its not new people i am talking about. the people that have been here and know the rules and break them anyways and throw a big fit about getting a slap on the wrist then it turns into some big drama thread.

so of it comes from us all become more like a family but i still think most of it is self inflected and could all be avoided if we will all would just do the right thing.

i am going to shut up no as i dont want to get any neg rep because after reading only 2 threads today i am so wanting to go off on a few people but i going to hold my tongue and count to 10 and calm down some.

Man I usually have your back,and no I can't rember but you are harsh at times,not just poker hands but alot of things.I don't know that he was refering to you in general.All I am saying is I have been here since 05 and have made several comments about some of your replys.In general your a good guy but you do have your days,now thats not saying some didn't deserve it,ya know what I am saying?

I've been in this family long enough to know that NDN will do what is best for everyone here! I'm not going anywhere unless I'm forced to, no worries. Can I be the resident forum Bowie and sing about the ch-ch-ch-chaaanges?
