i think a re raise preflop would of made this guy think twice for calling on the flop turn and river. i think he should of folded but i guess he didnt care what you had!!!

lemme put myself with QQ here...

Id raise the flop to start, but you wouldnt bet out with an Ace if you hit it, id imagine a check/raise to the origional raiser...

So lets say i call.

check the scarier turn.

River you bet out for a decent amount. Possible steal.

I would imagine you have either KK/KQ or complete crap.

Reading it this way, im undecided which way i would look at it, i might call, depends on any reads.

However if i can decide, and i read well, then ill assume the villain here cant read as well and just loves his QQ.

It depends. How often do you push? If I'm playing with someone who has been pushing all the time, which happens a lot on ft, then I call here. If you seem fairly tight, haven't been pushing a lot, I'll fold. I have no problem letting go of any pair, but at some tables there is someone pushing every hand and there I'd call.

yeah i hadn't been pushing any action it was still pretty early and i hadn't even shown a hand down yet....so thats y i felt i could make this play....esp since i put him on a hand like that i actuallly had him on 1010 or JJ but its the same thing essentiually 2 overs and a pair on board

well i would have been out by the turn with QQ however you made a big mistake in not betting the turn. You bet the turn here and he folds 100% of the time with QQ(unless complete donkamania applies)...i like the call on the flop and leading the action when he checks and calls the flop, next time make a 3/4 to pot size bet when that king hits...If hes got a big Ace he'll check raise to see if you have AK or not. If I have QQ here and you bet flop, check the turn, and then bet the river, you either have a weak Ace or you can't beat QQ.

Seeing as he raised preflop and check called the whole way down I'm leaning toward someone who just can't throw away QQ. In my opinion a bet on the turn just costs you more chips. I don't see him throwing away QQ because he should of on the flop when you bluffed the A.

This could be a shark in sheeps clothing, but I would expect a river raise if he was that good. If I'm in that hand and I have you on nothing, then I raise on the river and try to not showdown my hand. I like to keep as much information to myself.

i would say he was a fish. you called his preflop raise and he had queens. when I seen the ace or king hitting I would of folded your bet and saved my chips for another hand.
