NDN Book Club: Check-Raising The Devil by Mike Matusow

I don't know if anyone remembers or not, but toward the beginning of the summer, I made the final table in one of Full Tilt's freerolls that was giving away copies of Mike Matusow's biography. A few of you expressed interest in reading it once I was done, so I thought I'd start an NDN book club after I'd had a chance to read it. After a LOT of waiting, it finally came in the mail today, so if any of you want to get a chance to read the book too, post in this thread so others know who is on the list where, and then send me a PM with your info. I'll send it off to the first person on the list, along with the address information for the next person so they can pass it along when they are done. I'll update this thread when I'm done reading the book, but I thought I'd get the list started now!

Dang I wish I could read,this guy should be on everyones list as a top player to."yeah I know blows up alot, but does play well".Tay I might be interested, if in the near future I would have time,If I think I will get a chance I will pm you my info.If ya not gonna stalk me,lol.I am the OFC freeroll winner lol.

Sounds good, just let me know, I'd be happy to send it along! Otherwise if NDN is ok with it I could always post chapter summaries or something, I dunno. But yeah, let me know! And can I stalk you anyway? lol.

geez it only took them 90 days to get it to you. well im glad u got it and the A9 was still a bad hand that u played on there to go out. . tell klink i said that . lol yes i have a somewhat of good memory on that hand.

He says "if you say so GloBug, if you say so" And yeah it took them ONLY like 90 days. Jeez. I got the email that was just verifying my address and stuff finally like 6 weeks ago or so lol. It took so long to get here that when I got a package pick up notification I had no idea what the hell it could be lol.

this is so cool Tay ....i would like the chapters posted but that may be against copy right laws too.......im such a slow reader or i would join in...souynds like a neat way for all of us to read it...hey are any of these books at the library? i wonder?

It could be at the library I don't know. I wasn't going to post the whole book lol, just chapter summaries if anyone was interested. The book is a couple hundred pages long so that'd take a while to do unless I scanned them or something! If you'd still like me to send it to you sometime I can do that. Just let me know any time after I've read it! If I do post anything about it I'll make sure to use the spoiler thingies so no one reads information they're not ready for yet! I might need a refresher on how to do that though (eejit?)

well i would love to read this book but i only read books when i am sitting on the pot. so it might take me a year or so to read this book. so i guess i might just have to go out and get my own copy and read it at my own pace.

It should be very simple. Tay sends it to someone, when that person finishes reading it, they post it here in the forum and mail it along to the next person that wants it, and so on and so on.

Simples, you send me your info and if someone else has it already I'll give it to them and them only to send the book to you when they are done! Then you'd either have the address of me or the next person on the list to send it to when you were finished with it.

I was going through my stuff and found a copy of Bringing Down The House (about the MIT Blackjack Team) in pretty good condition that if anyone wants, I'll send to them for a couple of bucks to cover shipping.
