flush draws
in tournaments when you play that suited connector or a8 suited or whatever with two cards that are suited and the flop gives you 2 of them how often to you go for it either by pushing as a semi bluff or just calling or betting a little to try to control the betting to see if you hit how ever you do it how often to you chase the flush. I know there are circumstances such as paired board that could make a boat and different times in a tournament when you being careful because your close to the money or whatever but when none of that is in effect how often would you just go for it. I am just curious at how many people can't help themselves and how many people no matter what avoid it unless special circumstances. So I'd like to hear everyones thoughts on the matter.

Early on in a tournament when the blinds are low I don't mind staying in and throwing a few bets at a flush draw, especially with a lot of other people in the pot. When the blinds are low even missing doesn't hit your stack very much. If I am reraised while I'm on a draw I usually fold since it isn't worth the risk. Percentages aren't in my favor at that point. Later on in tournaments I try to stay away from all chasing. It just always seems to be an easy way to get yourself out of the money. It is something that a lot of people get carried away with and I was one of them when I first started out. Now I like to think I'm a little more patient and won't put my tournament life on the line with a draw unless I'm short stacked and drawing to the nuts.

i like to chase when i know there are 3-4 other people in the pot, 2 of which may be on the same flush draw as me, however, i only get my money in before all the paper is dealt if i have the nut draw...or a flush and straight combo draw. I have no problem getting all in if i know im getting 4x my chips back.

If I have A-anything suited and I get 2 of the same suit on the flop, I find it difficult if not impossible to fold my "4-flushed with the nuts card" hand.

flush draws have made me a ton and I have lost a ton with them. so I am kinda in the middle of the road, so many factors have to go into the decision now instead of insta aggression like I have before.
