Tis the season, football season that is...

So i arose from my bed on friday morning at 4am in a wonderful mood and i couldn't quite pin down why. As i sat up i thought about how i had to be at work in a little less than an hour and a half. I started eating my breakfast of champs; A banana, glass of milk, and some protein powdered oatmeal. I checked my email, as every good email junky does. And a sudden burst of excitement and happiness overcame me and a large grin engulfed my face like a kid on christmas morning seeing his new bike for the first time. I realized it was a new season, football season that is. Not to take away from NFL preseason, but it just doesn't even compare to the regular season at ALL...and "playoffs??? you wanna talk about playoffs? Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?!?"(hahaha name that coach) Oh boy oh boy oh boy! And did i mention college football? WOOOOOOOHOOOOO...college football is the best thing since sliced bread. Name one sport where you can spend an entire afternoon watching over 30 different games! NONE!

In lieu of my solid covers.com ncaaf league champ picks last season (25th/10,000+) I want to startup an official pickem thread just for SOLID sports picks, if you have a lock for a game you let me know, if i have a lock for a game i'll let you know and i'll let you know why i think thats the best pick. I must say i dominate in picking over/under, and im par in picking spread.

Weekend football is my new religion, sat/sun are my days of sabbath, and all week i spend praying to the fb gods to bring more football, heck, i even check midweek on espn.com to see if maybe they changed an NFL game to thursday night, much like just before playoffs!
