This is me Tommy

Well lets see I was born in 1973 breach birth on April 2. I was suppose to be born on April 1st but I held out until midnight and April fooled everyone also coming out *** first I shot the world a moon and came out saying kiss my *** world. This is a true story I swear. Both my legs were bent to my ears broke and my balls were swollen to the size of grapefruits. So I had an auspicious start to say the lest. I grew up in South Florida where I was spoiled rotten and learned to gamble at the age of 7. Playing chess and 5 card draw for money mostly my allowance against my dad. When he won he never gave my allowance back and that tought me a very valuable lesson. As a teenager I chased girls like most guys but my dad had become a hug cocaine dealer so we were pretty wealthy and I was told I would never have to have a real job. That was a big mistake. My dad got busted in 89 and we lost everything and I went from being on top of the world and thinking I would never have to work to being poor and lazy which is a bad combo. So basically I have done odd work just to get by while I try to figure out a get rich quick scheme until a few years ago when I discovered holdem poker and how big it had gotten. So I decided I would become a pro poker player so I have played and learned everything I could for the past 3 years and I am getting pretty good. So in the next couple years I hope to go pro. I am currently trying to build bankrolls on sites the hard way with small deposits and freerolls basically because that's all I can afford. Im doing pretty well and I am able to provide for my family barely week to week on my earnings. I'm still looking for that big win so I can start playing the big tournaments and go pro. Like I said in the next couple years hopefully. So basically I am a lazy 36 year old bumb who hopes to become a poker pro soon and my family hates me for it but oh well its who i am and when I make it they will forgive me. Theyve stayed with me this long.

making a living at poker ..may not be a lazy mans path either....seems to me that it takes some time ,,but maybe its easier being time spent doing something u love....welcome aboard! we are glad u found us...post around ,,u will make chips the more u post ..you can use these to get passes to our games....i will enjoy playing with you there...im from Florida too north tho above Gainesville. gl here and in all your endeavors.

Good luck on your quest,I hope ya enjoy yourself here.We have one memeber with a couple big wins and a few with some pretty good ones.Making a living at poker is getting harder so good luck.I mean who would't rather play poker than work,seems like most of us here would rather be playing poker.

I dont think I can top that Intro post LOL , but I signed up a while back through someone that referred me here . I see the games at merge alot but time gets away from me and I wish I had more of it to sit and to play .
Im on the East coast at the Beach living and loving life ! I have been sharpening my poker skills online for quite a while and I love Merge so I hope they dont take that from Americans too ! Well you have had some times. Times on top of the world and times a few steps down from the top. But it's all what you make of it from here on out. Sounds like you know where your head is so.... We'll see. :)

Oh and you can become a great poker player! I believe in you. I also hope that you have enough sense to find something to fall back on. You know when the tables are full or you are bored of it.

I don't know for a fact but I would bet that the big big poker stars have a career of some sort under their belt.

Even Eejit and Glo Bug have work to back up there poker and they are pretty good. Now NDN he plays poker and golfs, aside of that I don't know cause he is a very private man. But in five more years I get to see his picture.

Who knows though he could be a CPA, a welder or maybe he was with the carnival a while but I am sure he had something to fall back on tool, he could possibly even own a casino. Any way he owns this site and he has a lot of stuff to offer. So have a ball and good luck to you and poker.
