Little mistake costing me money?

Today I put so money on carbon because I had free day. I made two little mistake that cost me a mtt and a sit-n-go.

1st one was in a 6 person $33 buy in sit-n-go. Top two get paid and i am sitting in second. I made a squeeze play to steal blinds and I had 68 suited. The chip leader called. flop came 4,5,7..... the nuts!!! well i walked the dog and value betting the turn. I had the nuts on the river a 6 and then a 2 came. anyways my mistake was: I was playing on my laptop and i usual have the Ethernet cable plugged in to prevent me from losing connection. well i didnt have the cable plugged in and i got disconnected. And when i plugged it in, i ran out of time and he made a small bet to win. anyways i ended up finishing 2nd but could of won more profit!

2nd one is: I was playing a MTT and i had 20 bb. i saw my next hand and the guy snapped all in for a little more then half my stack. well i had 62off and i went to click fold and i click call instead!! man i was pissed but once again a mistake cost me money! I am still in the mtt right now but on life support!

My tip is to beware of factors that can cause you to lose money. I am playing more carefully now but just a heads up.

I think we've all had those times where we have tried to fold and mistakenly called. Always embarrassing and of course everyone calls you a donk and doesn't believe you hit the wrong button. It used to happen to me all the time when I would play multiple tables. Now I just make sure I minimize the tables as much as possible and I don't seem to have the issue any more. As far as losing connection, I haven't had that happen yet but I feel for you on that one. Definitely frustrating to say the least.

I hacked a lung cookie onto my keyboard once and it folded my AA.:icon_bs:
