Police Vacation pay

This irkes the crap out of me.

I saw the news where a disabled man (deaf and mute) was sick in the bathroom of a store and after abit of time the store employee calls the police.
The police show up and the disabled guy trys to convey to them that he is deaf and mue and the police pepper spray him and taser him.
He was arrested and the police claim that he had an umbrella that was laying on the floor (a cheap pop up one) could have been used as a weapon.
The police are now being sued and the cops involved are put on paid leave until this is resolved.

The cops get a vacation and the tax payers get to pay out a huge lawsuit.

Is this becoming an intentional game to these cops, so they can get a paid vacation?

Sounds like to me if you want a vacation just beat someone up . Paid at that too !!!!!!

that is such bs ringo i didnt hear about this but it is such a pitty the people who are sopposed to be looking out for us and be able to understand such confrintations and should be put on un paid leave while stuff like this happens because even if some one like me who works in a resturant was to get into some ruckass at work and got suspended i get suspeneded with out pay intill the issue is resolved or i am let go i belive it shoudl be the same for cops goverment all the people should be treated equal bye there jobs even if there in the right or worng a suspention is a suspention

well thats how they do it unless it was a shooting that killed someone like the Bart shooting on new years. all state and county employees have the same as for stuff like that. its a union thing dont blame the state blame the union.
