I know it's not gambling, but I have played countless games of cribbage in my life and had never gotten a 28 or 29 point hand. Now that I finally got 28, 29 is next!

Yes. 29 is the most you can ever get in one hand, 19 is impossible to get.
I was 1 off 29 with my 28, which is nearly as rare.
