Cash Games

Seeing as there has been some discussion about cash games on here recently, I thought I would extend an offer.

If there are players that are looking to improve their cash game play, feel free to contact me. I'm willing to work with players so long as they are willing to learn. I'm willing to do this at no charge to the player. If you are interested, send me a PM telling me the following:

How long you have played poker.
How long you have played cash game poker.
The easiest way to contact you online.

I have an interesting work schedule, but I'm willing to help when ever I'm off work, which is about 20 days a month.

that pretty cool of you to offer help to others that are willing to listen. as for me i dont play cash games anymore. if i do it is stickly omaha pl. to me that is my best game. gl with this and i hope you have a few people take you up on your offer.

That's a great offer.

I would definitely have to get a better bank roll online to do this though.

Also - cowboy is a good cash game player. I cant strongly suggest enough how good a deal this is for some people. Ive offered the same for SnGs and MTTs, and the few people ive done it with all seemed pretty happy.

but for cvash games, go for it ppl

cowboy what will you be doing! Watching us play and guiding us! messaging us while we are playing. just curious! playing you heads up at a table!

yeah i guess i can agree with my happiness from the advice you give in these.
with cowboy offering cash game help and eejit always offerin mtt and sng help there should be no reason why we all cant be winning players now.

UM, interesting work schedule. On for 10 days and off for 20.... it really has peaked my interest in what it is that you do :-p. Its cool that youd offer your service for free mate, and much appreciated. Id have to say if there are two weaks points in my poker game, its playing heads up, and cash games (everything bt PL OM H/L, I KILL IN THAT) I might have to take u up on that offer sometime. I am curious though; are you going to sit in on our cash games? got some good poker articles, what? Regardless, its cool of you to allow that knowledge to trickle down to the rest of us :-). Thanks again

if it was me helping you i would want to first look at some of you hand history and go over that with you first and see what i think are some of your weaknesses are and then i would want to sit in on one of your session and chat with you on msn or yahoo messenger and go from there. i sure what ever cowboy does it will be good for you and i cant wait to here the success stories from this.

Ghosting is what he will do id imagine. Or im certain of.

well cowboy that sounds good because eejit gives out bad ideas. lol JK eejit. as for being a firefighter u are a lucky arse. my bro in law is one and he has the best schedule ever. yeah he is out of the house few a days a month but man 21 days off. that wouldbe great. well let us know how u will be doing this.

I love firefighters.

They risk their life for the community and to me it really is a noble thing for people to do.

I;ve been playing all day, and you're gonna need it.

OK, I will answer a few questions.

To start we will discuss some general knowledge required to play successful poker. Topics will include proper position, pot odds, implied odds, outs, and many other things. This will take place before I ever watch you play a hand. After that I will ghost you while you play a single session. I will have you send me the hand histories and I will look over them. I will plug them into Poker Tracker and send you a screen shot of what it says about you, as well as an explanation of what the different numbers mean. After that I will ghost you and offer advise while you play via MSN, Yahoo, or Skype. Based on your knowledge of poker I might have you read a few things here and there.

For those that doubt me, I've consistantly turned a profit playing cash game poker. The biggest thing to remember is that you will not turn a "huge" profit in one session.

For those that asked about my schedule, I am a fireman. I currently hold the title of Fire Apparatus Operator, but I also spend time as the Captain (riding the seat).
