I am 49 years old and just found out yesterday that milk has sugar in it.
A gallon of milk has 192 grams of sugar in it.:willy_nilly:
My wife is diabetic and we need to watch her sugar intake.
We shop for items with little or no sugar in it, but are finding it very difficult. FN everything nowadays has sugar.
Please help me by posting good tasting foods with very little sugar in it.
We need all the help we can get.
We do use splenda and cut out fruit juices.

Milk for me is really bad, dosent make me any good at all, only bad.
I guess that she could only stick to the salt normal food like salad and thigns like that...
ok so no milk for navuta when we go on our camping trip.... jk...hes so easy.... I will look into this stevia..we use the pink stuff...also murrays cookies and bluebell no sugar added icecream. no sugar pudding mixes are good but u have to make them with milkl(why!!) ok so do they make a sugar free evaporated milk or dry milk or condenced milk.. i know that can take out the fat seems like taking sugar out would be easier
They do have a lot of natural, no sugar added foods as woohoosue said, even like peanut butter and stuff. I'm not sure about the sugar amount in this either, but have you considered soy milk? It might still be pretty high. And as someone else said I'm not sure that natural sugars are as much of an issue as artificial ones, but I'm not diabetic so I wouldn't know for sure.

I didn't pay attention to milk enough to realize it had sugar in it, but it's a processed drink.

Splenda is perfect what you are looking for.
Acquiring a taste for foods without sugar is easy, it just takes time. Everyone can become adapted and make normal of anything over time.
Oh my Ringo I am sorry bout that. I have many family members that are diabetics. My momma for one, I will ask them and get back to you if anything of worth comes about.
I don't know how I would or could adapt with out my chocolate I love it! I love sugar too. Another thing I love is salt. I have begun to cut back on both but God forbid I couldn't have any. That would totally suck a fat one.
