Something I read.
This was a motivational story my wife brought home.
The story goes that some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said,"This is for you, Daddy."
The man was embarssed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found out the box was empty. He yelled at her, stating,"Don't you know, when you give someone a present, there is supposed to be something inside? The girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and cried,"oh Daddy, it's not empty at all. I blew kisses into the box. They're all for you, Daddy."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around the little girl, and begged her forgiveness.
Only a short while later,an accident took the life of the child. It is also told that the father kept that gold box by his bed for many years and, whenever he was discouraged,he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

If in fact the story is true the man is paying a unforgivable debt and will be for the rest of his life. Sometimes we do things or act in ways for reasons that we can not explain. Or we have an abundance of unwanted problems on our minds and we tend to take them out on the people we love the most. It doesn't make it right to do but it happens nonetheless. Then we pay ungodly prices for it. Words can do a lot of hurt and bad things and sometimes words can fix things but it is always better to let your actions speak for you. That is why it is so hard to actually communicate truth and reality online.

well in a very real sense, each one of us,as human beings, have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses...from our kids ,family members, friends and our higher powers. If you look at it this way there is simply no other possession, anyone could hold, more precious than this.
I thought i would share this with you fellow NDNER"S, kinda sappy but thought it was good food for thought.

sad sad story. Not to sure if its true but i could see how the guy was just so
stressed out with no money but still the way he reacted was un called for
and now he will never be able to forgive himself for the way he acted
towards his daughter her last days on earth. just sad.

OMG, that story almost made me cry. I don't know if I should feel sorry for him or not, but the child was precious. I wonder if this gift would work for my husband at Christmas, might have to try it!

Well it was intended to make you think I think,I have no idea if its true but sure makes me think. If it only makes me think then it served its purpose.Alot times i would have been better off with a few seconds thought, instead of flying off mad.I hope she "my wife" brings home some more, I just hope its not as heartbreaking.
