The Baby Blues is another way to say Postpartum Depression.
So I am going to say no, what you are feeling is not the "Baby Blues."
I could explain it but I found a site that I think you might find interesting.
Nonetheless you will have a complete understanding of the illness.
The site is credible, up to date and written by a panel of doctors, that
include (Ph.D.'s, MD.'s) several of them. The sources are listed.
So here ya go (Postpartum Depression and the Baby Blues -- familydoctor.org)
In my opinion I don't think you are crazy. I also believe that this is perfectly
normal. I also think that one and a half to two years is a perfect age gap.
I think that Woohoosue's advice to you is absolutely golden. I would advise
you to take it straight to your heart.
When you said yesterday Kaylee was a newborn and today she is almost
eight months old.... I had to let out a big sigh... I can relate to you like we
are in the same room, seeing the same thing. As for me I have two
precious daughters.... and like you, I feel that just yesterday they were just
babies and then I too blinked my eyes and now they are 19yrs and 24yrs. I
am not kidding by any means. I have no idea where the years went.. but
they went, and they went fast. So cherish every single moment you have
with your children.
