Question about food.

Okay so I might be a little stupid for what I am about to ask but I am going to ask you guys anyways.

I heated up a pizza around 6:00 pm last night in the microwave.

But before I got the chance to eat it, I was on the pc and kind of forgot about it.

And then I fell asleep.

I know you can probably already tell what I am about to ask but I've already done it, so I was wondering how harmful would it really be to eat said pizza once I recook it again.

I've done it and feel fine for the time being but was wondering if it is possible to get food poisoning from this.

Hopefully I will be fine but I'd like to know you guy's opinions.

So thanks if you answer and please don't call me stupid.

Regarding this topic, as a qualified chef (kinda) with food safety and other related qualifications, i can safely say if you are reheating food, its generally fine.

Points -

1: The food must be cooked to a temperature of 70 degrees celcius, otherwise you wont kill the bacteria.
2: If you left the pizza out int he open, id suggest throwing it away. Not worth the risk.

If your food was left in a refrigerated environment, or a sealed container or something, itll be fine. If not, chuck it

It's easy to buy another piece of card board for a few dollars.

What is 70 degrees Celcius?

Is a microwave okay with that. I just reheated in the microwave for 5 minutes and ate it.

It was in a sealed place kind of, the microwave.

If it was out in the open I would not have eaten it.

I'll let you guys know if I barf from it or not.

Its the multiplying bacteria that will "fester" (love that word) in your mouth, throat, and stomach, multiplying rapidly causing all kinds of untold agony (and possibly, but hardly ever) death.

Its the other end of you id watch out for. Food poisoning is expelled through your usual canals.... just at a faster rate:)

FYI if your pregnant can i suggest not eating microwaved food? Or risking your health in anyway just for a pizza

Yeah ive done that too...it is ok to reheat and eat it...but it doesnt taste as good..but it is still alright to eat...just try not to do it again...haha...dont worry it happens to me all the time:)

And My doctor said microwavable foods were fine.

But why would you suggest the opposition on that?

Rinse your mouth with peroxide and chew some gum.

well pizza is fine. u can reaheat it again i do that alot and and havent had a problem yet. and its celsius eejit.
