Race Track Launched

The Race Track has been launched! As usual, please report any bugs/issues that you may encounter when using the race track.

The Race Track can be found by clicking the "Casino" link in the main navigation bar at the top of the forum.

Edit: I just went to the racetrack, and it told me I needed to download a plug-in. When I clicked to do so, it said

"No suitable plugins were found.
Unknown Plugin (application/x-director)

I am running Mozilla Firefox. Any suggestions?

Ok I downloaded Adobe Shockwave and I can get it to open now without the error, but when the race gets ready to load I can't see the horses or anything and the screen goes mostly black for a few seconds before returning to normal but only showing the grass, track, and chat box things. Any ideas NDN? Klinkman's is working fine.

The chat doesn't work

I went in there and bet 15 on the long shot to place at 34 to 1
and it said not enough funds.

Regarding this...

If you are playing alone, it is not vs the "house". It is a system that usually has people betting their cheaps, and the payout is from these chips combined.

However, betting alone you will get i believe 7-2 on any horse winning. Even an even money favourite.

Similar for all the bets.


Note - The trifecta and other "exotic" bets are fixed. They are all towards a jackpot, which cannot be lowered, and all the bets from trifectas are added to it, creating 3 cumulative jackpots to be won. Not bad for 10 chips to win 11,000.

I'm not sure why people are having chat problems. Please make sure it's turned on (each game should have the option of turning it off/on).

Otherwise, try re-installing Shockwave or using a different browser.

This game involves paramutuel betting so bets are paid out based on the number of chips bet in a game.

If there is only one player, I've set it so you can still win more than just your bets.

It's kind of a bummer, but this will work better with more people playing.

If anyone has any suggestions to improve this I am all ears!

I love the horse racing. I hope I have better luck than the casino and blackjack especially.

Quick Note - I had to temporarily shut off the Race Track this morning because of a few flaws in the system.

I hope I can get this game (and the new Blackjack) back up after speaking with the developer.

Please get the race track back up soon I need to win all the chips i lost there back
