Fourth of July
What does it mean to you and how will you spend it this year?
To me the fourth is a day of celebration and remember how far we have came as a country. not only how far we have came but we as a country has over came to get where we are today. This is one of my favorite hoildays except for christmas. The smell of fireworks, bbq, and some of the local carnies. well the smell of the carnies i could do with out but you get what i am saying. This year the family and I plan on going to the town parade in the morning time then hang out a little bit at the local carnival for a few hours. i am going to try and make the cake ppa freeroll but if not i wont be to mad about it. later in the evening we will be going to my fiance's parents house to cook out and throw rocks(just the way ndn would like it to be). about an hour before dark we will head up to the local ball fields to watch the fireworks show. That is how we will spent are day. God Bless America

Well the fourth as a holiday doesn't necessarily mean all that much to me-maybe it will this year now that Bush isn't President and it's not so much about defeating terrorist enemies and being all "Yaaaaargh We're America Beeyotches!". Sometimes I just like to be contrary though and wear my Union Jack shirt because its funny. Doesn't mean I'm not proud to be an American, cause I am. I just don't endorse all these oppressive war shenanigans we've been up to lately,
Otherwise it's a nice day to celebrate with the ones you love and enjoy summer and good food! I'm personally not a huge fan of fireworks as sudden loud noises scare me and therefore cause my joints to tense up and be painful, but if Klink is covering my ears (which is really sweet of him to do!) I do enjoy watching the pretty colors.
