Break out of A bad run with a MTT cash
It always seems like right after i take the worst of it(yesterday), i take a nice prize in a MTT. This morning i played in carbons 3.30 buy in $600 guarantee(2 rebuys allowed)...and it started off REAL REAL bad. 5 or 6 hands in i get dealt AA, sweet. Guy raises for like 1/3 of his stack, i shove he shows 55, flop 5...left with 195 chips...next hand i get dealt 68 offsuit, my lucky hand and football number hs through college. I shove 6 callers, SWEET, flop 57J, turn 2, river 9...back at 1200...then next hand i get KK, i instashove, girl calls me with QJ, flop 9TJ...SHIITE! turn blank river blank, phew. VERY NEXT HAND AA, shove from small blind after 2 ppl raise SAME GIRL CALLS ME WITH 88, took her out again. It's pretty rediculous i got AA,KK, and AA 3 out of four hands, but crap, i'll take it! From there on out, i sat back with my monster stack and put people allin preflop with solid hands...99 or better only. I saw flops a few times w/ 77 and i hit 2 sets with it. Final table i was in first pr much the whole time while 8 handed or less until we got to heads up. I got unlucky when i picked up AT and A3 and played aggressively with them, both times heads up he had AQ and AT respectively so i was dominated...60 dollar difference from first to second, so i took a cool $120 for a $3.30 investment-no rebuys.
