Trip to Chicago

Just got back from a trip up to Chicago. Had a great time, we'll up until the last day when I went to check out a local Casino cuz it was raining and the Cards/Cubs game was postponed. Anyways went to the Harrah's Horseshoe right across the border in Indiana... I have never been to any other Casinos other then the ones in the St. louis area and The 2 trips I have made to vegas.

I will never go back there again. The gambling is horrible. I don't know if Im just use to the st. louis casinos and if there just smaller stakes then other places? but, all the table games at this place were 25, 50$ min bet games, alot of them with 500$ max bets... In St. louis they have half the tables set at 5, 10$ min. 1000$ max

The video blackjack was capped at 5$ max bets, What the "F" is that?

I didn't play poker cuz it was so full and crowed... I see why, The rest of the place is pretty much set up for you to lose unless you go in with 4 or 5 hundred dollars. I should have just kept my money and waited for a spot to open up, but I didnt. Lost 2 staight 60$ inside bets on roulette. dropped 40$ on video blackjack. Couldnt even get near craps.

Finally lucked out and was passing rapid roulette when a spot opened up and leaped into a seat b4 some big fat woman with a cowboy hat... (and prob skol in her mouth) sat on me.

Rapid roulette was 10$ min bet. I bought in for 60$ got up to about 180$ at one point. I was gonna quit if I got up to 240$... Played for about a hour. Then craped out when it hit 00.

That sucks

I left after that. I wasnt having fun at all after that 120$ lose n 2 spins on the table roulette I was pretty much in a bad mood.

Next time I go up there I have to reasearch a little and find a better one to go play at. Cuz that was horrible.
