Language and Topics in the Forums- ? for NDN

Hey NDN, since I'm a relatively new member, I was just curious what the guidelines were in posting as far as language and/or mature topics were concerned. Obviously we're all adults here on the forums and therefore have a right to use adult language if we choose, but aside from the obvious gratuitous use of questionable language in posts, how much is allowed here and also how explicit is too explicit for discussing other adult topics? In my posts I always try to be politically correct and least offensive as possible, but I often feel like I go overboard in my endeavors to be polite simply because I don't know what's appropriate here. If this has already been explained elsewhere, feel free to send me a private message or direct me to that place on the forums. Note that I do not have any controversial topics or discussion hinging on the answer, I was mainly curious what was acceptable and what wasn't. Thanks!

There are no set "posting guidelines" for the forum.

If I feel something isn't appropriate I will delete or modify it as I see fit.

It's extremely rare to see anything posted that would warrant any type of punishment though.

The only exception would be if one member were to say things to another member that were out of line.

So post away and I'll let you know if you cross the line! I have a big stick at the ready for these types of situations.

Excessive swearing gets edited though to random comedy phrases!!

yeah ndn has the best edits. hes done it a few times to me. he is very creative. as for the big stick. eejit u like it like that huh.

Thanks for the info, guys. I have seen a few of the "comedy edits" and they are indeed more entertaining than the original language usually! Eejit, be careful with that arse of yours or you might just get yourself an eejit! lol
