Local Games?
What do the local games look like where you live? I have only played in tournaments, I don't feel like I have the bankroll for cash games. Here are the pokerrooms/ tournaments that I am usually playing in off and on thoughout the year.
St. Charles : Casino : Poker Room
Casino Poker at Harrah's St. Louis. Casino Poker in the Harrah's Poker Room
Poker - Lumière Place Casino & Hotel - Best Casinos in St. Louis, Missouri
... Don't usually pay over 60$ to get into a tournament. even though since I have started working 3 12 hr shifts a week and making 500$ more a month than at my old job, I have been playing alot more. I need to start bluffing more in live games. Im working on that, however, thats another topic.

This is our largest poker room & race track (largest in the midwest as well):
Canterbury Park Horse Racing, Poker & Casino Games
This is our newest poker room & race track:
Running Aces
This one was built with the player in mind. They have showers and just about anything else you could need to keep you playing there for as long as possible.
We also have about 20 casinos that all have their own poker rooms (but nothing as large as those first two).

Ohh horse racing and poker in one place! Do you still only have to be 18 to get in?

yeah I didnt even realize some horseracing parks have cardrooms. Thats pretty cool. The running Aces place looks fun. We have race tracks around here but as far as I know none with cardrooms. I will have to check into that.
