Lets Run It Twice

If anyone has ever watched High Stakes Poker or Poker After Dark you notice in cash games, people when they are all in ask the question " Do you want to run it twice?"
This means that if they are all in preflop they would run out two complete community sets.
They would run the flop,turn, and river. See who the winner was and they would get half of the pot.
Then they would run the flop,turn, and river again and the winner would get that half of the pot.
You generally see this when people are all in and are in a coin flip and want to try to gurantee them at least a part of the pot back.
For Instance, I have Pocket Queens and go all in and you call me with AK suited.
The ultimate coin flip.
I would ask do you want to run it twice?
If you say yes we would do as desribed above...You can also run it more then twice, you can do as many times as you want as long as there are enough cards, so next time you are in your local casino and see you are in a coin flip, ask the villian if they want to run it twice. I always do.
