Fresh off a runner-up showing to Huck Seed in the 2009 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship, Vanessa Rousso, the Team PokerStars Pro and newest spokeswoman for the domain registrar/web hosting giant, GoDaddy .com, has announced a series of instructional workshops combined with a seven-stop, three-casino poker tour in conjunction with Big Slick Boot Camp LLC.

Vanessa will take a well-deserved break from the pro tournament circuit to play in several local tournaments near her home in Florida between March 20th and April 26th to both play and teach poker. "My biggest passion outside of playing poker is in teaching poker strategy. I love watching that light bulb go off in my students' minds when they discover something new," said Vanessa.

Vanessa's' workshops will be grounded in "Game Theory" and Sun Tzu's teachings from the historic The Art of War. Sun Tzu's famous work presents philosophies and strategies for managing conflicts and winning battles. It is an established masterpiece on strategy and often referenced by generals and theorists throughout history. Many of its teachings relate to the battles we face and tactics we use on the felt.

For those interested in attending the schedule is set as follows:

• Friday, March 20th: Jacksonville Orange Park Kennel Club. Charity tournament to benefit Vanessa's newly launched anti-poverty foundation "The No Limit No Profit Initiative" as well as several other charities.

• Saturday, March 21st: Jacksonville Orange Park Kennel Club. Vanessa will present a short lecture on game theory and tournament techniques and play an invitation only tournament.

• Monday, March 23rd: Pompano Beach's Isle Casino "Battle at the Beach" $300,000 guaranteed tournament. Autographs and photo opportunities will be available during the tournament's scheduled breaks.

• Saturday, March 28th: Palm Beach Kennel Club. Vanessa will give a short lecture on game theory and poker, and play in an invitation-only tournament.

• Sunday, April 5th: Isle Casino in Pompano Beach. Rousso will launch her innovative poker instructional camp: "The Art of Poker — An Intro to Game Theory and Poker."

• Saturday, April 11th: Jacksonville Orange Park Kennel Club, Vanessa will teach another session of "The Art of Poker — An Intro to Game Theory and Poker."

• Sunday, April 26th: Palm Beach Kennel Club. Vanessa will close out the Florida tour with a third opportunity for Florida poker players to attend her out-of-the-box boot camp, "The Art of Poker — An Intro to Game Theory and Poker."
