pocket tens on the BB, i raise from .25cents to 1.25, one caller, he has 57 offsuit, flop 5 8 J, all of clubs, my read on this guy was that he was a DONKEY, and i wasnt scared by his, limp, and smooth call of my raise at all...so pot is at about 2.25, i have the T of clubs in my hand, and i shove for 5 bucks ...he snap calls, with bottom pair, turn is a 7 of spades and river A of hearts...i cant win at this game, i feel like i just take bad beat after bad beat after beat on this stupid fn site....FULL TILT BLOWWWWWS

Ok, before I write my answer, I'm going to summarize what you wrote so you can see I read your post. Preflop you goto 5x the bb with TT and a mid/late position limper calls with 5/7 off suit. The flop comes all clubs, 5 8 J and you lead out for a 2+x pot bet of $5 and he insta calls. Then you went on to complain about the site.

Now, this is another example of an overaggressive play that ended up biting you in the butt. Why over bet the pot on that board? What if he had 2 clubs and hit the flush, now you are drawing almost dead. Yes, he made a questionable call, but I don't know the entire history of action prior to this hand. I'm going to ask if you are scared to play post flop, because that is the impression I'm getting from your posts. You don't seem very comfortable with post flop play. If that is the case, I'm more than happy to offer my help, but you more than likely won't take it or admit you might need the help.

Instead of over betting the pot, why not check and see what he does. Some will say that is passive and it is, but on that board that is the best play, in my opinion. Looking at it from his side of the table, he probably had you on AK and unhappy you didn't hit the flop. I've made calls like that before, especially when a player seems to be targeting me. Had you been beating on him multiple times in hands prior to that? He might of been looking for information on what you were raising with from the BB.

Again, if you think the play sucks on FTP, I can tell you it is just as bad on the other sites. It's the nature of online poker. Players will make calls online that they wouldn't ever make live because they don't have to face the player.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the right play because you lost the hand. It doesn't matter if he hit the river or not because you knew 2 more cards were coming and they could help or hurt you. By over betting the pot you didn't convey strength, rather that you didn't want a call. There is a good chance, base on my stack size, that I make that call too because I wouldn't put you on the mid pocket pair. Not only do your cards matter, but what your opponent thinks you have matters too. If I put you on AK and I flop bottom pair, I'm ahead and going to make a call, especially if your bet doesn't make sense with the board and the preflop action.

Seeing as anything I say isn't going to matter, I guess I will let you in on a secret I was supposed to keep. FTP is rigged so that EVERYONE sucks out on you.
