I've started playing in some of the challenges, and they are relatively easy, though the Jenifer Harman one might be tougher, I haven't tried it.
The first one I did was the Sit-n-go one, where you have to:
Not be the in the first 3 out 4 times
Fold medium strength hands (AJ KQ etc) in early position 7 or more handed 2 times
Shove AQ AJ or A10 5-6 handed once
Play 5 sit-n-goes with no more than 2% of your bankroll each time
Win 2 sit-n-goes
The 2nd one I did was the Pre-flop play, where you have to:
Mini-Raise strong hands UTG or UTG+1 3 times (AA-88, AK, AQ)
Raise to 2.5 bb with Medium and strong hands in middle position(AA-77, AK, AQ, AJ) 3 times
Raise to 3 bb in late position with anything except strong hands 3 times
Steal the blinds 5 times
Go 100 hands without open-limping 5 times(excluding blinds)
I was able to do these in a couple of hours, but I was playing 3 sngs at once and playing 4 cash tables for the 2nd challenge.

how do they keep track of it?
-
It appears that the have an algorithim to process hand histories to see if you met the task defined by the challenge.

Well good luck to you Klink,I am sure you will do well.

Herlis,
Thanks for posting this wonderful information. I've looked at the academy and started to complete challenges. I'm now waiting for the store to open so I can start to buy stuff. For those that haven't seen it and play on Full Tilt. IT'S FREE INFORMATION. If you don't use it, you are missing a great chance to improve your game for free. The only way it costs is to do the challenges because I believe they are only able to be completed by playing cash ring games, but I'm not sure.
