I would take the 34 suited......b/c if you miss u can get away....but the aces doesn't know if you hit or missed so its harder to get away from 3 aces....sayu a 2 hits do u put someone on the 34.....the 34 suited is a much harder hand to see comeing then AA
Looking at just outs, the 3/4 suited is way better. The AA only has 7 outs to improve his hand, not that it needs any. The 3/4 has 8 outs for the flush and 6 outs for the straight. Remember that the 5 of spades doesn't help.
Now with that said, I would rather have the AA because I would play to pick up the pot on the flop and take my winnings, instead of trying to milk more. If my opponent wants to make a bad call to chase his draws, then I have to start to try and figure out what he has and hope I hit one of my 7 outs on the turn or 1 of 10 on the river. The only time you should slow play is when you almost have the absolute nuts. If you think there are multiple draws out there, then you need to play aggressively and take the pot as soon as possible to minimize your suckouts.
cowboy is right take the aa and run with it dont pull for the draw push for the win
first of all....its a bad play by AA. I would never just limp with AA special online. So the guy with AA played his hand wrong. AA should of never let anybody see the flop. in super system by doyle brunson he says win small pots with aces and lose big pots with aces. so if someone wants to suck out on you with your AA then make him pay for it..........
AA is roughly a 60-40% favorite here, i would never limp with aces unless it was a heads up match and i wanted to throw my opponent off...thats not the case here however, so i limp with aces, im betting pot with 2 spades on the board, if i get reraised im shoving and playin the odds and wishing upon a star for the board to pair, i feel betting pot does two things, it lets you know that he has big draw if he reraises, and if he smooth calls a pot bet hes obviously just got the nut flush draw...
i think it depends on limping with aces. your position, players style, and previous hands have to be considered(if a guy is tilting). i do not recommend just limping with aces because most of the time you will just lose a big pot or win a small one. it depends though because if you have a calling persona then maybe calling is the best thing to do to try and sucker a raise out of the guys. there are pros and cons to both. unfortunately if u limp and a guy bets out strong then you might have to lay the hand down.
What if the 34 suited was ahead statisicly?????
umm i say the AA because u are ahead at the time. with the set. u r a fish if u choose the draw. isnt that what defines a fish? well im taking the rockets for sure.
