Good luck Bird. I've played in that a few times. Donk city for the first hour or so. If you can make it to the first break you should be in decent shape to make a run for the money.
LOL !!!
Man are you right!
Folded the first 8 hands.
then... I get AA 3rd to act.
Under the gun goes 90 chips.
I go 180 chips
He's All In!
I call.
He's got K7c
I think you know how this ended.
I wish I could say that was shocking but it seems to happen all the time in those freerolls. With 2700 entrants and about 2500 donks, it doesn't make the $100 prize pool worth it in my book. Of course, if there is nothing better to do I'll play one but I never expect too much out of them.
I played a few of these. Made the final table on one after about 5 hours of play. Dont really play them anymore. I cant sit and play for 5 hours knowing Im gonna get about 15$ if i win. thats like 3 dollars a hour. **** i could pick up a extra shift at work for 5 hours, make 5 times as much and play a 100$ buy-in at the casino... and its not like its work, all I do is sit at a table and watch cardiac rythms.
again I concur with Arsenal, make it thru that first hour and your good.
Ya thats the trick to make it through the first hour. But don't forget some of those morons make it through too. And then you still have to put up with them. To me it is not worth playing in those freerolls. Its not worth the 15 dollars you get if you win. And if I do play in them I wait till I get a 2 3 offsuit then go all in just to piss off the players. And most of the times I win the hand. I would say out of 10 I would win about 7 off them.
The one I made the final table. I played like a complete A-hole and had like 2 million in chips with the closest player to me had 200k. I finished like 8th. hahaha. This was like the first month I started playing internet poker. I couldnt even make it to the midway point after that. SO i just stoped playing them. 6 hours isnt worth it
the way i see it on the FTP freerolls they are pointless to play in for 5-6 hours to win at most $15....I mean there are beggars out there that make $15 in one hour..lol
I play freerolls at work for distraction not for money.
My time is worth more than $3 an hour.
Otherwise I would have a hard time completing a 5 hour freeroll.
these are the worst freerolls ever, people play like complete donkeys at every stage in these and your only hope is to get a big stack early and start pushing ppl all-in preflop with good hands
