TT vs. AJ
I was playin in the fulltilt daily tournament dollars freeroll, and i made a nice run from about 1600 in chips all the way upto 58,000...not doing too bad, blinds were 500/1000, i pick up TT...standard 3 bet raise, thats my usual thing when the blinds get big i stick with 3 bets bc they are easy to let go if someone shoves...anyways, so i 3 bet, everyone but one guy at my table is shortstacked that it'd be an instacall if they shoved...so anyways the only bigstack at my table calls...im thinkin ok, gotta play this cautiously, so he's BigBlind, im UTG...flop comes down K3T, rainbow...SHAZAAM, im nutting in my pants cuz i flop trips...he leads out, i smooth call, next card 8 and puts a two card flush on the board now...he leads right out again for 6,000...i reraise to 18,000 bc i honestly dont want to see another card, he sits there and requests time...so i start chatting like the great scotty nguyen, "you cant call, it's too much for you, baby!...lay down your K weak and i'll show you my Aces." he lets time run down to about 5 seconds and calls with AJ....Ace Jack!...river Q i HATE fulltilt, and for this exact reason, i will never put another cent into that site...EVER...the only money i play with on that site is money they give in freerolls...anyways, i stay around and talk **** on the guy, bc he just hit a 4 outer with one card to go...and i say what are you thinking??? he goes i thought my ace hi was good...i said really? think about it idiot, i raised the flop and i raised big on the turn, u think im in there with 23 tryin to outplay you for my whole stack?...what a dumass...he started calling me an a$$hole american at this point, and i simply replied to him, if you think about it, pocket dueces were beating you up until the river...THINK about that one!...
I waited till today to post this bc i thinki almost broke my computer yesterday after this, it's just a shame how bad people are at poker on that site...i feel like, theres either really really good players there and theres donkeys, maybe im just a really good donkey...lol anyways, heres the stats via cardplayer magazine...on the flop, with trip tens, i was an 86.26% favorite...on the turn, i was a 90.91% favorite...but if you check the stats on full tilts odds calculator, i knew all along i was an underdog...i just dont get how people can shove their whole stack on a draw like that with Ace High??? anyone think i overplayed my hand?...i certainly dont, i knew how far i was ahead and i got my chips in with the best of it....4 cards and full tilt gives it to him....lovely

Ok. He hit a 4 outter. It happens. I understand he risked his whole stack to hit the long draw, but if he thought he was ahead no matter what you say is going to change his mind. Did you ever think that your Scotty impersonation might of made him call? I never tend to talk when I'm waiting for a big call. Don't give them anything to think you might be weak. By claiming to have A's you actually diminished the possible strength you were showing. I'm not making excuses for his call, just giving advice for what might keep it from happening in the future.

1 - NEVER try and talk anyone into calling or folding.
2 -You wanted him to call
3 - He might have thought he was ahead.
4 - He might have thought he was behind but had 10 clean outs.
5 - He might have had a flush draw
6 - I still love making lists
7 - We should make more lists
8 - Can you PLEASE learn to post with better grammar and paragraphing?? Just makes it easier to comprehend.
Thanks!

It was a freeroll right? well the gut coulda been calling to bluff turn or river. Then Shazamm he hit the miracle, happens to me alot.I would say you shoulda pushed hard at flop and turn,I mean hard. However he still may have called, I get alot bad beats at tilt to.Also everywhere I play, its the same.Online Poker gotta love it.

Yeah, I never talk either before a bet. Now after I made a great play or a donk screwed up I will talk trash but I think it goes aganst the grain if yu talk before he calls or raises. It always will make you 2nd guess yourself, should I have done it or not. Would he have folded. I say don't do it but I like AJ better than 10/10 preflop

maybe your right, but this isnt preflop, this is turn poker...
