walker carbon and pdc bounty tourneys

i write this blog tonight, with alot of thought concerning bountys on walker poker. i cant believe the highs and lows, one person could experience at this style of poker.

there is so much action preflop, peeps going all in, etc. but i cant believe my eyes, when i see so many players losing out on the river when they hold the better hand preflop, or further on. only to lose to the player calling with scraps hoping to hit!!

i have been playing alot on the cash tables, and can honestly say, that ive never seen anything like this there, so i wonder, that cause its a bounty, does the site purposely setup the swings to rake in more all ins and get more action, etc. something does look strange, and is a big talking point on the tables!!

i have to admit, that although i have experienced alot of bad luck, i have also experienced the luck of these swings, but with this in mind iam somewhat suspect.

donks also experience alot good luck, as it seems, the bountys payoff players that think any two cards can win. i was watching a hand when i had folded preflop, and (player A) reraised all in with aa only to be called by (player B) with 57 off suit, only to see player B win with straight.....grrrr!!. this isnt a one off, you can see this atleast a couple of times in one game.

undoubtedly this is going to be an interesting topic on pokerspace, so i would love to hear all your comments and views regarding this. i could just be narrow minded, and just not looking at the bigger picture, but hopefull with your comments, will hopefully see what everyone else thinks.
