Way to go Timbers, thats real good cause if ya got the Fpps you probally have played.Great timbers against a strong field.Congrats.
-
strong field = no
donk field (its 10FPPS) = yes
THat being said, playing against a load of IDIOTS!!! makes this even more of an accomplishment
Very well done!
-
Ok this is my last post, first to earn Fpps you gotta play, second my bad it was 10 fpps.Third most of us play smaller limits with the exceptions of a few.So to get 10 Fpps you would have to play a little, last but not least. Those who cry foul"or call people idiots" are more likely to be one.Do you know the one thing I can't stand? It's people that think there above everyone else.Timbers I think you done great, no matter the field second outa 4k plus is great!!!!!
-
Huh?? I said it made it MORE of an achievement getting this deep in this kind of game, people playing like crazy because its a 10 FPP donkament. I know i couldnt have the composure to go this deep in something like this.
Why the f**k have u gone so hostile?
(sorry for taking this off topic, but i did congratulate you, and will do it again) Gratz!
-
I'm also a little puzzled by your comments Lilred....
We all agree that second out of 4,000+ is an amazing feat.
-
wtg on the win....... gl next tourney you play!
-
first my reply was just a rebuttle, because.
strong field = no
donk field (its 10FPPS) = yes
THat being said, playing against a load of IDIOTS!!! makes this even more of an accomplishment
ok any number of us could have been in that tourney. So that makes us an Idiot? I myself have over a 1000 fpps but sometimes like to play in these just to pass time as do some of my friends. It takes a while to get 10 Fpps if you play small sngs and such. All I was saying is how one person identifies the rest of the field without being there or knowing who's in as Eejit has made several comments about people recently without knowing all the facts.I am just a person that doesn't believe in calling people names or making fun of people without knowing the whole story. If I become hostile there's usually a reason, some here find a way to ruffle my feathers.I thought we were entitled to our opions here.I made mine about a guy that replied to my post, that's where I stand. If some don't like it maybe they should be more careful with there words. So if my words offended eejit then good cause his offended me.I do not want to bicker, I have enough on my plate but where I come from turnabout is fair play. From now on though I will just keep my thoughts to myself so I don't get hostile unless I feel someone who has no say here has been slighted. Oh and just FYI, theres not alot cash in those tournies but there are some good players playing just because they know there will be some loose play.Win one of those EEJIT then crow. Later all.

I fully respect people having opinions.
The thing is ive played in... im gonna estimate here, 100 low buyin FPP games spread over FT and PS. Every single one - without exception, are donkaments. People push for 200x BBs with A4suited and get called by KT. Its not a proper poker game. Im not calling the people who play technically Idiots, im saying they play like them. Maybe 1% of people who play a large field free MTT will attempt to play "properly" in order to win, most will just mess about.
FYI - you get 2 FPPs for a $2 SnG. So it takes 5 of these to get 10 FPPs. Which, IMO, is not alot.
All this being said, I in no way insulted Timberdogs, i made it out that he accomplished more coming 2nd in this than 2nd in say a $100buyin, as there you can expect a generic normality of poker to be played. I did call the field idiots, because they will have been. Im talking from experience, i wont slander a game ebcause i havent played it or only played it once or twice, im talking from personal play and from watching.
Any FPP game up to and including the 375 FP sunday mil sattelite is just shocking t watch. It makes it all about luck. Which is why im impressed Timberdgs went that deep in such an event.
And im not saying every single person in that field apart from Timber was an idiot, i mean ffs, maybe Timber played like an idiot himself at the start to get alot of chips. When i won that $3 rebuy on stars 2 years ago, i played like a complete *** for the first hour, then changed it right round and played tight/agressive once i had alot of chips when the rebuys stopped. Im sure if i played this 10FPP game id fit right in with the idiots, id be pushing anything early on for some chips, then id settle down.
So in your opinion i didnt think my post through.... in my opinion you didnt think my post through. I didnt make any assumptions. My post above in complete undenyable fact.
P.S 10 FPPs has a cash value of $0.12
