I gotta tell I hate AK. I hate that hand, I really do. Short stack, all in with AK, I lose 8's on the river (perfect IE of LUCK in this game) I know its a good hand to hold, but for me, I hate it! Go away AK! Go away!!!!

Umm, read what you said.
We are arguing luck in general isnt as big of a factor as you think.
Going all in preflop, theres no skill in that. Luck is all thats left.
And i like AK all in preflop, its the only way i play it now
Gotta say I am not a big fan of of going all in with AK suited or not. It is still a drawing hand. Make a good sized raise. If you see a bad flop then you can fold and wait for a better hand. If you get reraised then go all in it that hand. You at least will have some idea that the person you are against might have a decent hand. Instead of being against lucky donk that calls all in with suited cards.
Speaking of AK. In tonight's NDNPT game at Paradise I make the final table. It is the second hand and I get AK of diamonds. Flop is all diamonds so I've got the nuts. I bet the minimum 200 and someone goes all in. I call instantlyand see I am up against a set of 8's. Turn and river are both jacks to give him 8's full of jacks. That one hurt.
Any points for bad beats? LOL
I was there and saw that. On the bubble and not getting my cards. Go all in with QJ clubs and lose to somebody drawing a 6 on the river. So mad I dump Paradise from my computer and WILL NOT play there again. That is the reason I did not reload Paradise on my new computer because of the BAD BEATS!!
The Turkey
Losing with 2 overs to 2 unders is NOT THAT bad of a beat. More often than not, youre 2-1, which, in an all in situation, isnt that great. Granted, you will win more often than not, but you will still lose 1/3 of the time.
its just less than 2-1
