All Night?

okay this is going to be interesting..... i can't wait to see the resposes.

If you decide to have a few drinks with a buddy and you buy loads of beer do you have to drink it all till it's gone?

Eg..... Your buddy ends up only having 3 - 4 drinks and calls it a night because there's things to do the next morning. There's tons of beer left and you want to have more. Can you just have a couple more and have some beer left for another time? or just because there's beer in your presence do you have to stay up all night long till its all gone?

I go to sleep whenever I feel like to, dont care if there's still drinks, women food, poker or anything, if sleep calls, i'm there LOL

well i have a family so the only time i drink till the wee hours of the morning is either on my bday or new years. not as young as i use to be. dont think my liver of kidneys can handle it anymore. and if the beers are at my house then cool i got beers left for days.

lol, i know what you mean....... last year new year's i was lucky to make it to 12:15 am, YIPPPEEEEE my liver doesn't like it either..... it's aged faster than anything else

Unless I am having wine with dinner, I am drinking to get messed up, and that usually means finishing the bottle!

Your liver.... i feel sorry for it.

I cannot stay awake all night let alone drink. LOL

It depends on the ocassion. Sometimes I will party all night, especially if there is dancing involved with loud music. These days I tend to like happy hour best and save all night for special occasions. I'm really trying to limit my drinking, I'm a work in progress!!!!! I love my grapebombs and champagne!!!!!

I think drinking with friends and family is a relaxing time off for Adults - I don't condone teenagers drinking although we have all done it . Most of us got caught some of us never did.
This place is more of a close nit environment so I'd like to share an experience as do with you guys and gals please do with it what you wish ,

I have 5 children one just turned 18 he held his first job got straight A's had a girlfriend ect. we decided to buy him a new truck for his good deeds as long as he kept his insurance and maintenance up.

We did not know that after he left our home at 3:00 one afternoon to go to work that when the clock hit 9pm he would '' stop by to check out a party ''
When he got there 75 teens and 12 Adults were having a bombfire get together . His brother was there our second oldest son who is 17 -

We have a strict curfew for him by midnight on the weekends - So He comes home as normal but leaves his cell phone in his brothers car by accident - We stopped the curfew with the 18 yr old for the AGE factor - needless to say .

We as parents go to bed at around 12:30 thinking all is good We know the oldest will be in after saying good night to the girlfriend and blowing off steam with friends ect ect after a long work week ., I jump online find a late night game but my stomach is killing me -

after an hour the phone rings with someone yelling on the other line - I always say if someone calls my home after 1 am they better be DEAD ..

Well I pick up the phone this child yelling helicopter hospital and something else I couldnt make out . Panicked I woke my husband up the other son said '' chris'' get up - and got no answer - I tried my best to calm everyone down in the house without waking up the other 3 youngest kids - We My husband went white and said this isnt good chris is always home by now I said lets call the hospital as the kid on the phone said helicopter hospital - When I called I asked the lady where do I find out if my son has been in an accident ? she said name please I told her she puts me on hold and transfers me to a CHAPLAIN ...

my heart drops I turned my back to everyone standing in the kitchen as to not see my face - the man said yes he is here and they are working on him now and requested I stay on the phone as to not wreck myself trying to make the 30 min drive .

My son gave 3 teenagers a ride from a lets drink till its gone party that night - thease kids were toasted and chris was doing what anyone offers to do when your friends are too wasted to drive .....

He even stopped once to let some guy not puke in his new truck !!

3 driveways before the first kids house he lost control of his car and knocks out 2 trees and flipped 5 times - Decapitating one child and the heart of the second child had a ripped aorta and not a bone is his body was NOT broken the 3rd child crawled out - Chris his intestines exploded by the force of the motor hitting his chest .

Chris was not drinking he put on his seat belt - After making it out of ICU by a miracle He was told he had killed 2 of his friends - and he was being arrested for vehicular homicide - In my state his charges total to a possibility of 55 yrs in prison .

Had he been drinking there would be no leniency in his sentence in this state - flat LIFE ..

My sons life is over as he awaits trial now there is 2 other children who were only 17 !!!!!!!!! whos lives were taken and 3 out of the 12 Adults at that party were charged with contributing to a minor ... $ 500.00 fine and maybe 30 days ------

So I suppose we all make decisions and we all dont know when it is out time to go but who should take responsibility for us when we drink would be a better poll ... luv to you all and god bless see ya at the tables if I ever get enough chips lol

I find this to be metaphorical for how I use my money when I'm playing poker lol

I really feel for you jezabela. My brother was killed in a car accident on a nice warm summer afternoon. He was heading over to my parents place after helping a friend with some stuff. He was hit by a car that went through a yeild sign. Both were killed. The worst thing the guy could have be charged with was failure to yield, that is what we learned from the police.

The accident investigaters said that my brother was not speeding. It was a clear corner but they figure that the sun was a factor for my brother. The other guy had the sun behind him so my brother would have been looking into the sun, the other guy had no glare etc. A witness said that he never saw any brake lights on the other guys car, he did not even slow down for the yeild sign.

aww, my heart goes out to you and your family, those that have experienced the accidents. Being in a car accident is awful and especially if your doing it to help your friends out.

I was in a car accident when i was 16 on the highway, ended up in a coma for 3 days and huge gross looking scar across my neck which just missed the jugular vein by millimeters. i was so lucky, i was a passenger in the car, and by some miracle i survived and have absolutely no memory of the experience. My friend said she could hook me up with a hypnotist to see if it will help me remember but I decided I don't want to know a thing. I got plastic surgery to take care of the scar to the best possilbe it could be.... that might have been more painful than waking up from the accident..... was an awful accident and thankfully everybody involved is okay.

I do not blame you for not wanting to remember. If I would have a bad accident the last thing I would want is to relilve the event. You must have had an angel sitting on your shoulder that day.

i drink to have fun with friends and such, not to get drunk >.<

First of all, I don't really drink beer, but I do like vodka and some other liquors. If I'm making drinks and don't feel like finishing one for whatever reason, if it's something that won't last and he's not already had too much himself, Klink will finish it for me, otherwise I'll leave it to drink in the next day or two!

I'm going to make a drink right now. lol
