i'm curious..i feel i'm a rather good poker player i just dont have the funds to play like i want to, wondering if anyone has any information on how to obtain a sponsor / backer? if so any information would be greatly appreciated...

there are a few site out there that allow people to stake people and recieve stakes. should use caution when staking people there though. always good to look at a persons track record at the site. if you are looking for some of the site send me a pm and i can give you the website for it.

Targetguy I'm quite sure several players just at this forum, feel like they could do well. I wasn't being mean just reality some people here have played "poker" just poker for years.There may be people that will give you cash to play but be weary,if they were very good peeps they would play themselves.
