i was playing at pokerstars just now on a freeroll and a pop window said that i got disconnected and cant connect back , so i closed the software and tried to log in again but anothe pop up window appeared and said " no local object " at first and now lately it just dont connect. is anyone having the same problems ? i contacted support and waiting for their reply.

its ok now Lilred im log in but my gaame says its on break and everyone is a sit out except me....lol

sounds to me like they were doing a server update...

Yeah they were down forcing software updates or something

i got this reply from support:

If you were in a tournament at the time of the outage then we will becancelling the tournaments. These tournaments will be cancelled inaccordance with our Tournament Cancellation Policy which can be found here: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/tour...cancellations/ Any player who was in a tournament will have received an automated emailwith a full breakdown of the refund issued. If you were involved in a cash game then your chips may still beallocated at the table(s) you were playing at. You can locate thetables by using the Requests -> Find a Player feature, and searching for your own UserID. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this incident which Iassure you is a very rare occurrence on PokerStars.

Hopefully they wont encounter an issue again for a long time ;)

I have had that happen to me quite a bit. Ironically it seemed to happen when I was in a big pot with a great hand. Must be my luck lol : )

Well, if you ever get stuck or disconnected and for some reason cant get back to the tourney you are playing, just send the email to stars support and tell them your internet is fine but pokerstars aint got connection with you and that you lost the tourney, they will then most likely refund you your buy in as a courtesy, but if you try to abuse this, they wont give you crap LOL
