Treasure Hunt
It's my favorite time of the year here in Minnesota, and one of the things that makes it great is the annual Treasure Hunt!
In a nutshell, for the last 59 years, our local newspaper has hidden a medallion somewhere and they print a new clue each day until it is found. This is just one of the many events of the 125-year-old Winter Carnival.
Although a lot of the clue deciphering relies on having a vast amount of knowledge of the area, I still thought some members here might enjoy checking it out.
You can find the clues, discussion boards, etc.. here:

If anyone has any ideas for the clues, feel free to share them!

Clue 3 would indicate somewhere in Burnsville. Any parks names after Magellan, or Columbus in that area?
-
Please define the area I can look in. Google Earth rocks, but doesn't seem to define the area you mentioned.
-
It's restricted to any public land in Ramsey County, MN (which you would need local knowledge of to understand). For the most part, it's usually a park in St. Paul (though not always).

After clue 9 ill have it!

It certainly appears to be a location of historical importance, and i see several clue that appear to be directed towards something in the air. The second video, in the bathroom, seems like it could be hidden in a vent or above your head in a historical location??

is there a park called heritage in your area or Ignatius Donnelly statue in the available possible areas?
-
Its usually buried outside

I think it was found really fast this year. More fun when it takes people a while.
