I'm Tay, and I love the Beatles!
Hi everyone. I know a lot of you already know me, but here goes. Obviously my username says a great deal about me, but even more than I love the Beatles, I love Klinkman. As he said in his post, we've been madly in love for almost the past three and a half years, and I'm so happy that he's the one I get to spend the rest of my life with. He is definitely the John to my Yoko, and I couldn't be more blessed. I owe a lot to this website, in fact, for us getting together- the first time we really got to know each other was during a break from the NDN Poker Marathon where Klinkman decided to leave his computer for a while and come to a school sponsored game night on campus. We talked pretty much the whole night that night, and when we actually started dating a few months later we recalled that night fondly.
Before meeting him, I never really knew much of anything about poker or followed it, but seeing how much he loved the game made me want to learn so we could share something together. The same happened with his love of Magic and bowling. Though I'm admittedly more of a casual player- I only play micro-stakes games on FullTilt for fun- I definitely have an appreciation for the game and its players. Klinkman introduced me to this site a year ago February, chiefly to get me involved in the NDNPT. I was counting on improving my poker game for sure, but I wasn't prepared for the many friends I would meet here and grow to love as brothers and sisters. I can honestly say I am a better person because I know you, and I am so glad we are friends. I know my life would be drastically different without you.
Aside from all of that, I am a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a degree in Classics. With that, I hope to teach Latin someday, preferably at the high school level or below. I use a wheelchair and am not afraid to admit it, but I don't let it define me as a person. Klink and I are enjoying our life together and making our own way in this world. What more could a girl ask for than great friends, a great passion for helping and teaching others, and a great life partner? Not much :)
