R.I.P RocketManAA

Sadly Eddie aka RocketManAA sadly died yesterday of kidney failure after a long fight with cancer and leukemia. I know he had a lot of friends in the poker community but as I don't know who you are individually thought I'd make a post to everyone.

OMG Rudy! I am so sorry to hear this. He has helped me fight my own cancer, he inspired me so much. I remember when he had a setback, but I thought he was beating it. He would check in with me now and then to keep me strong. I am sad to hear this kind heart is no longer with us. RIP Eddie, aka, RocketManAA, you will be missed greatly by many.

Oh my goodness, I am so very sorry to everyone that new and loved him. I was strongly thinking of him a couple of days ago. I noticed that he had not updated. I will pray for comfort and a peace that passes understanding for those who are mourning! God bless you! RocketManAA will be remembered here at NDN! He was an asset to this forum and he was our friend! See you again someday Rocket!!!

I am so terribly sad about the loss of a dear friend. Just the other day I posted and asked him to update us on his progress and it pains me to hear this news. RocketManAA (Eddie) was an extremely giving person who never asked for anything in return. Over the years he has helped me in countless ways (sometimes without me even knowing it) and I am extremely grateful for that. He kept the forum fresh with all of the new bonuses and I am certain that he played a big part in keeping a lot of the members coming back here. He also ran his own website but graciously sent out emails to his members with updates on the happenings of the NDN community.

I hope to learn of the arrangements so that the NDN family can send our condolences in the proper fashion.

Ed had a few sites over the years. As far as I know the last one he had was the one he made for me, bankrolledpoker.com, which we ran together but unfortunately it never really got off the ground.

He was an amazing man and being his friend was truly an honour and a pleasure.

well i would like to thank you for this update. man im still in shock. i know i didnt know him personally but a lost life is sad no matter who it is. RIP Eddie.

I didn't know Eddie personally, but it was with his recommendation that I joined this site. He will be missed greatly. RIP Eddie.

I truly hated seeing this thread. RocketManAA was one of the original forum poker players, and a good one at that. He made me a better player, and was instrumental in helping me try to maintain some friendships amongst former forum poker players who drifted away. Eddie, you will be missed.
