My brother and his wife ate over tonight and let it out that my sis in law in 6 weeks pregnant! I just had my first nephew born 6 months ago by way of my sister, too!

The only crappy part is that my brother leaves for a (second) 9 month tour in Afghanistan on Jan. 2nd and won't be home for the birth of his first kid.

It sucks, but it's still exciting that they're expecting!

So what made your life a little bit better today?

What made my life better today, was being able to reach out and help a friend get some help from a great fella. Sometimes the good deeds of others can bring ya happiness as much as your own.

Tell your bro to be safe, the kiddo needs his/her daddy, and kick some arsh for us!

The way I used to live a a couple years ago compared to now has been a serious downfall. But I wake up everyday knowing that it can be much worse and that I am better off than a lot of people. My fiancee and I has made a lot of sacrifices for our son. So when I think about it, "LIFE," it is good even though we have had some huge financial problems the last couple of years.

I am just thankful that we have a roof to live under and food to feed my family.

Keep your head up. It gets better, When I was born, my father worked so late that I usually didn't see him on the weekdays and my mother had to babysit to make extra scratch. 20 years later, he paid for my college tuition out of pocket and he is executive VP of Sales of a fortune 300 and comes home every day at 3pm and golfs half the time.
