Anybody watch tv game show???

Was just curious if anyone watches game shows on tv. For about three months now my son and I have been watching The Price Is Right and Deal or No Deal and sometimes Jepordy. I always wanted to go to California and actually try and be a contestant on The Price is Right. The odds of that are very slim as it is all luck. It would be nice though to have at least one shot at guessing the prizes, but even then its all luck. It just seems like a lot of work. You have to be picked to guess the the item, without going over, between four other people, then you have to try to win the game you play, then spin the wheel to see if you can get on the showcase. The odds is almost like winning a small lottery but I can always imagine.

Klinkman and I love to watch game shows together- part of the fun is competing against each other to see who would fare better on the show! We especially enjoy watching Cash Cab, Family Feud, Jeopardy!, and of course, The Price is Right together. Funny story actually, that some of the older members here already know, Klinkman and I are together in part due to The Price is Right. You see, a few months before we actually started dating, the university we both attend was hosting a "game show" night for students, and the game du jour was Price is Right. We both went to the event, separately, and given that we were the only person each other knew there, we sat next to each other. Unfortunately, neither one of us got a chance to be a contestant, but that did give us the opportunity to chat well into the evening and get to know each other. We didn't start dating for a few months after that, and in fact never really spent much time together after until we started dating either, but when we got together we both remembered that night as the start of something wonderful for us, that neither of us could see at the time. We still have our nametags from the event, too- on those big yellow stickers! It was pretty cool stuff. So now that's kind of our special show. Not special enough I don't think that we're going to do something like try out for it and make special shirts and all that stuff, but whenever we're around and it is on, we smile and watch it together and remember that day.

I have been watching price is right since birth,, I really like the game show network,, watching deal or no deal alot kinda getting hooked on that. I do like one on there called 1 vs 100 kinda different. and theres the classics jeopardy,, family feud,, ect ect if your a fan of price is right you must watch the show were they show highlights of best of best kinda thing!! bob barker was the best ever and some of those clips are amazingly funny,, anyone remember the big samoan woman that almost killed him when she tackled him to give him a kiss!! lmao its classic!!

I love watching game shows.. Deal or No Deal, Jeopardy, Are you smarter than a 5th Grader? I end up feeling like an absolute genius or a total dunce.

I love Family Feud as well. Shouting out the answers at the tv is one thing but I have thought about being on the show as well. I think it would be hard with all that pressure on you when your up. I would probably come up with a blank answer.

Since you guys are The Price is Right fans what is your favorite game on the show??? Since they had Drew Carey host the show they have not been playing Plinko much. I love that game...

I don't really have a favorite I just like to watch people's reactions to the prizes and stuff, and enjoy laughing at the morons who are stupid guessers. I'm not necessarily more skilled at one over another.

I watch them once in a while. My favorite was Win Ben Stein's money. I still see repeats of it on the Game Show Network sometimes but I've seen most of them now.

I know what you mean. The reaction is priceless. There are definitely some morons that make me laugh and try to dance or that think they are doing something cool but instead embarrassing themselves on national television. Its all luck.
