Anyone psyched about this fight card??? I am not. The only good fight is the the main event which is Lyoto Machida and shogun. I am not saying that there is not good fights it just looks really bad on paper. Nobody to get really excited about. It looks worse on paper than UFC103. Anyway, is Mauricio Rua really next in line for the title shot??? Really disappointed in that decision. I understand that Rampage and rashad Evans both lost and have to fight each other to get to the belt, and Forest Griffin lost to Anderson Silva, but Rua only has three fights in the UFC and lost one of them to Forest Griffin. Really??? Is he next in line for the title shot??? In my opinion I dont think so, maybe one more fight and it should be between the three guys that recently lost the belt in the light heavyweight division. Yes he beat Chuck Liddell, but who hasn't lately. Oh well, maybe it will be a good fight but I think Lyoto will have the belt for a while just like Anderson Silva.
That will be a good fight to watch Anderson and Lyoto.....

it was very obvs that rampage was next in line but it turned it down for TUF. he wants evans and if he beats him look for him to get the title shot. as for shogun who else would you put up there to fight lyoto? noone comes to mind and if you seen some of shogun's earlier fights he is pretty damn good and has a chance to win the title. i doubt he will win but he has a decent shot at winning.
as for the rest of the card...well its garbage. the co main event might be alright but i doubt it as cain is a boring dude imo. ben rothwell is a pretty big dude and i think he will knock cain out in the 2nd round. the rest of the card is going to be a snoozer.

Yeah, I guess your right, no one else deserving of the title shot. The light heavyweight is not that stacked as I thought it was. Maybe Dan Henderson could have had a shot as he won his last three fights. Randy Couture, as he dropped down in weight. I dont know its just crazy that he only has three fights and he gets the title shot, when I know that he is not going to win. That is just like putting Anderson Silva and Thales Leites in the ring. That was not a good fight as this one coming up will not be good. I really dont think Rua is deserving of the title shot yet, but like you said who else is next in line when everyone else has to fight someone else. IMO I think that Rua got the title shot by default.

Personally, I like any UFC event and look forward to seeing if shogun has the goods to give lyoto a good run. I cant wait to see who is gonna be the fighter to step up nd take on anderson silva or lyoto machida and kick the chit outta em, because thats what both those guys need, a good ol fashion butt whipping.

Even though Anderson Silva is one of my favorite fighters I wouldn't mind seeing him get knocked out. My fiancee always bet against him because of his arrogance and the way he beat up her favorite fighter twice, Rich Franklin. I will always watch UFC and love watching fighters fight in the octagon, but this UFC is just not worth paying $50 for pay per view and chillaxin at home. I am going to the bar and watching the fight like I did UFC 103. I will definitely not miss Lyoto kick Rua's butt.
I wonder if Anderson will get a shot at Lyoto's belt since he already beat Forest Griffin which already had the light heavy weight belt... That is if he wins because anything can happen in the UFC.

Maybe its just coincidence but have you guys noticed the way he beat up the americans really good??? Chris Leban, Forest Griffin, Rich franklin(2), Dan Henderson like very embarrassing, and he took it easy on thales leites??? I just thought that was weird, I wonder if he is trying to prove something. Brazil is definitely trying to conquer UFC as they have the middleweight and light heavyweight belts.

well if he goes that route dana white has already said he would have to give up his middleweight belt. as for shogun getting the title shot by default. well thats what i was thinking also. 104 still doesnt look good on paper by who nows could turn out pretty good. big name fighters dont always make the best ppv. just 2 fighter getting it on and beating the living piss out of each other.
