First day at a new forum.

Reminds me of changing schools mid-year. My name is Joel, and I am 34 years old, and yes I can remember high school. I have been playing for 8 years. Do well live, play atleast 3 times a week and make an average of $400a week playing $1/$2 and daily buyin tourney ($40-$75) at casino.

I show a small profit online (lifetime) mainly because of a good 2008. Two cashes that totaled $4,000. Since then I have been taking every beat possible :boxing_smiley: and have recently decided not to deposit anymore. (but man is freerolls and micro limits some of the toughest games).

Started Fergusons challange (Freeroll to a bankroll of $10,000) and I am looking for some "easy games" ...lol hope that is where you all fit in. I belong to another one of those forums and hope to make some more poker buddies here.

I started the challange last week and have a tiny bankroll of $5.00 online. Hope i can figure out the secret of "online play" here. Live Bankroll hasnt been below $7000 in two years.

I play alot of poker, (girlfriend loves that) I have been known to go to casino for a tourney and end up there for 30 hours cause i was running too good. then there are days like two weeks ago when i lost $600 in 3 hands (AK suited,AA, and KK first three hands and didnt win one) and I left in 30 mins. Would have been 10 min but stopped and talked to the floor for 15 minutes.

Have a ton of poker knowledge and will enjoy sharing in post.

Non-poker
I live in Pittsburgh, PA (GO STEELERS & PENS, maybe someday we can get a baseball team in Pittsburgh again) I love watching all sports and playing golf twice a week.

Live with Girlfriend of 8 years and two dogs. (new puppy just ate girlfriends glasses last night, so maybe one dog) joking he is too cute to stay mad at.

Well good luck at the tables. playing 3 Sit N Learn freerolls today to get into tomorrows $5000 freeroll. cashed in this last month. If anyone doesnt know what this is, you really need to look into this. Full Tilt's Poker academy is one of the best things about FTP.:seeya:

Welcome to the forum and best of luck in your games!

To master poker and make it profitable, you must first master patience and discipline, as a lack of either is a sure disaster regardless of all other talents, or lucky streaks.
