Well yesterday was quite a day I can tell you.
I didn't want to tell anyone about this but I suppose it is good timing.
Maybe my Karma will change back to the good.
I got my Lab results back yesterday and I have good news and bad news.
I have been suffering trough some pretty bad rectal bleeding the last month and went to see my Doctor. The good news is that I don't have Cancer,
the bad news is I need rectal surgery to remove 3 bad hemmroids.

The last 2 weeks I have been waiting and waiting and growing more worried and more worried about the lab results.
I thought of PokerKitty often to try and put myself in her shoes and I could not and just cryed.
I am scared to death of surgery on my *** too.
I see the doctor again Wednesday and we will schedule it.
I could use some prayers right now my friends.

Good= Cancer free
Bad= surgery
Ugly= being banned by NDN

I didn't sleep but 2 hours last night
I realize this morning that I was way to preoccupied yesterday to be doing anything constructive. I found it nearly impossible to say a nice comment to anyone.
I am truly sorry if I may have offened anyone.

Right now being banned hurts more than my ***

Ringo, today is going to be a great day. For starters, you don't have cancer! A little surgery and you're as good as new. I hope all goes well with you and I will say a prayer for you. I know your good karma is coming back because yesterday is gone, history, and will soon be forgotten. Have a great day and keep a smile on your face.

Ringo, this may be a good time to reflect on your priorities. You have a wife and daughter. You have an easily treatable medical condition. I'm assuming you have a home and food and a job. My father used to say, "I once complained that I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet." It sounds like you have been under an incredible amount of stress lately, and maybe a timeout is what you need, to unwind and start appreciating what you have. If you continuously take out your stress and fear by lashing out at those around you with anger, you will very likely lose everything you care about. Wife, children, home, poker.. Poker and this forum should not matter more than taking care of you and your loved ones.

Honestly,from a guys point of view, I would be scared really scared of getting surgery on my arse. Heck I was a wussy even when I got my back tooth pulled, and I was in a bad mood for a week prior to getting it done, so I can certainly understand how you feel. The great news is it isnt cancer, and the bummer news is your banned for a bit. Even if you had cancer there is alot that can be done to help ya out there, and they are coming up with new stuffs all the time to fight cancer. I truly believe in another 10 years time, cancer can be cured effectively, or even eradicated completely from a patient in just a few visits. I heard on the news they even found a new way to possibly stop the HIV virus from mutating to AIDS, and the results of the findings could pave the way for a vaccine even. Even if you get a terrible disease, dont ever lose yourself thinking your at deaths door much to early.

We al love the ringo that we have came to know and adore here at NDN, and I wouldnt change a thing. Even the ringos of the world need a tampon and a midol every now and then. I wish you well on your butt surgery, and if you swing that way, tell em to put a few extra stitches in there for your good friend panam!:rofl:

I've got a hemorrhoid that I've been ignoring. It usually doesn't even hurt, and when it does, it's pretty manageable. I hope it stays that way.

Good luck to you, though.

Ringo I will pray for you. You are gonna be fine. The surgery will be scary and you may feel it for a bit after wards but in the long run you will feel much better. Lots of love.
