Who in their right minds goes on a hiking trip in Iraq?

"Where should we go this year that would be the ultimate trip?"
"I know, lets go to Iraq and go hiking"
"There is only a 30% chance we get killed or taken hostage, but we will be able to see Iran from where we will hike"
"Let do thus dude"

So they go and cross the border on Iran and get arrested.

Something is terribly wrong with this picture.
I think these 3 could be spies for the US.
The story in the media doesn't add up.

this is the biggests crock of crap that the US has cooked up. tourists in IRAQ. ummm isnt that a war zone. 2 of them have bay area ties. ones from berkeley and the other one is from somewhere else in the bay. what is so interesting about iraq that u would want to go there. i find it funny. whatever they deserve to be captured if they are dumb enough to go there. buncha goof balls. we know there spys. iran will know there spys.
