not only was it a no hitter it was the 18 perfect game. as in he didnt allow

any walks either. hard thing to do given only 17 people before him have

done it. i got to watch a perfect game once on tv back when keeny rogers

did it for the texas rangers.

well that was a good one. i watched near the end of it and he pitched great. best ive seen since randy johnson did his way back in the 90's.

Chicago White Sox's Mark Buehrle is the perfect regular guy - ESPN Chicago (http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/columns/story?columnist=greenberg_jon&id=4352018)

Definately props to that pitcher man. A perfect game in all of baseball is probably the best individual achievment a baseball player can have. (the cycle and 20 k's coming 2 and 3) The game saver for that guy, was the homerun that was robbed in teh top of the fifth i believe. I forget who it was, but the center fielder, hurled himself into the wall to take down what would be the perfect game ender. He knocks it from behind the wall with his glove, then as he is crashing down he scoops it into his glove with his other hand. I suggest if you havent seen it, to watch it. There would be no perfect game without a play like that, believe u me. NO love is given to that guy though :-(
Although im sure hell be getting rounds till the end of the night.

it was an incredible play however it was in the top of the NINTH!!!! leadoff batter count 2-2, WHAMMMMMY...goin goin, NOT GONE! Buehrle proceeds to strike the next batter out and the last guy standing grounds out, game over.
