I admit I went to Facebook after reading this and checked to see if anyone had updated their status about it before I clicked the link and saw it was old. Still though it'd be :willy_nilly: if this happened. I hope it doesn't. You think there's too much Michael Jackson coverage- we'd never hear the end of this. Plus Biden would suck as president, he talks too much. And he's against internet gambling, I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

I thought this was true like the members before me did.

I don't know what I'd think.

I honestly think I would be in a state of shock more than anything.

And afraid that another civil war type thing would break out because people would assume it's because of racism.

And you can say I'm wrong but personally I think it's true.

America needs an honest discourse with itself.

It's like the greatest country in the world by default.

We could actually be the greatest country that ever existed if we were actually honest about who we are and what we are and where we want to go.

And if we learn to have that discourse.

Things like racism are institutionalized. It's stemic.

You might not know any biggots. You feel like well I don't hate black people so I'm not a racist. But you benefit from racism just by the merit of the color of your skin.

Their's oppourtunities that you have, you're priviledged in ways that you may not even realize because you haven't been deprived in certain ways.

We need to talk about these things in order for them change. It's like the elephant in the living room that nobody says anything about.

I think you get from this, that I just really hope it doesn't happen at all.

There are groups across the country that are planning this very threat out. There are towns that wouldn't even welcome our new president.
There is still alot of racism and hatred in America. Let's pray no one is successful.

any thing of the sorts, it was more of a what would you do if it really

happened type thing? I probably should have had the title that was now on

it, but I couldnt for the life of me remember the right freaking word. But no

really obama is alive and well, but there is aweful lot of people who seem to

think this is gonna be the inevitable, including a nobel peace prize winner.

It would be nice if they did legalize hemp, because then i would be a farmer! I use to smoke it but when my little one came along, I gave it up. But I would most certainly farm it if it were legal. Right now I am really hoping that a form of poker legislation passes, allowing more poker places to do business in the USA. that would be nice.

Secondly, with that in mind:-), I guess no one else is seeing this, so maybe i could help them out.

Not only is Obama giving our tax dollars away to people who making a living out of taking americans money, but he is also creating money out of thin air with all these bailouts. And as everyone knows, when you simply create more of a money supply, hyperinflation is just around the corner. It makes me puke in my mouth hearing people talk about how great obama is. Oh were a great country, black president, hes so well spoken, blah blah blah. Just a heads up to everyone; Bush was elected because of moneys and influences from the pharmacuitical, fossil fuels, and defense contracting industries. As Hofstader said in his book the american political tradition "once elected and head of state one and most important job, is to then mobilize support for those who got them elected" Thats whats happened since the bank wars with Andrew Jackson. Obama was elected because on contributions and influences fro teh auto industry, the banking industry, and a few others. Once he was elected... all of these banks and auto industries were given RIDICULOUS amounts of money. Ridiculous! Why? To help the economy... no. It was because they, in essence, paid obama to help them out. Where else are you going to find that amout of money up for grabs. The treasury has got 350+ million americans tax dollars in it, and slowly, business has crept into the white house TO ACCESS THAT MONEY.
It makes me crazy when people dont see whats happening, so just to give you all a heads up THATS WHATS HAPPENING. Why do you think nothing is changing and everything is getting worse? Because the captains of industry want no middle class. They want themselves and then poor people; and as the dollar slips and the unemployeement rate increase, theyre getting exactly what they want. Wake up people! It matters sh*t thats hes black it matters sh*t that hes well spoken, LOOK AND THINK ABOUT what hes doing.
(im sorry for the language or if i offended anyone. I feel really strongly about this, and at the very least, i want to get people thinking for themselves, rather then going with the grain)

They have reduced our work hours and wages, have shelled our education system, they have made our children complacent, they have made military

Our country is being socialized wether we like it or not and there is nothing we can do about it. The Fatcats got us by the balls and we all know it. It's now time to admit it.

We Americans won't start a revolution. The American Police state is way too powerful. You step out of line and you get destroyed or dissappear.
Time to shut up and be good little Americans so we can continue to maintain our luxury life styles even from a poverty perspective.
If everyone learns to live within their means. we will all be fine.
Enjoy life and let our elected officials do all the work, that's why we voted for them, so we don't have to do it.

50k for a watch, 500K for a new car; when all the while that money can go so much further to help so many more people. Fact is the people with money very rarely tend to see the people without it. I think its that disconnect from other people that really prevents world from getting to a point where on the whole everyone has what they need to survive, and the resources of the Earth are spread equally and fairly.
